Li XinWen is a cultivator and was a peak master of the Soaring Heaven Sect. Having obtained a treasure that made even his fellow sect members green-eyed, Li XinWen was betrayed and had everything taken away from him. Years of cultivation gone for naught in the face of death and yet, his soul is unwilling to let everything go.

The plot is quite interesting and the characters are developed well. I can't wait to know what happens next!! Looking forward to the next chapter.
Sorry, I usually didn't give low review but this one sorry. Idk how i feeling while reading this story. I feel angry, angsat and disgust, not because i hate bl or something but bcs i like it so feel so frustrating about the guy and Mc! Also his sister. I truly feel this one really a dog blood novel. I tried to be patient with them, and okay, also considering to just enjoying the plots but... Nope still nope. I can't lies about how i feels while i tried to enduring this torture. I thought i could ignoring those brain holes act or moments but big no. I'm not a patient and long-suffering person so i now officially drop this. *sigh. I just decided to finally give this book a chance and "let's try" yet... No even a few days and i already drop this book out of my collection. Well, this just my opinions. This novel is great 😍 The main character is very special and I can't wait for him to settle with the male lead, his harem and friends. Life full of excited advantures during apocalypse.
There are spoilers here and i don't know how to hide them. Ok so, the writing and the background are good and the story it's interesting but, i just can't read anymore. I'll say it just as i wrote it in the comments: it feels as if i'm watching a rape victim forgive and fall in love with the criminal. Yes, i heard the real rapist was the brother of the guy and is a misunderstanding, but it's only found out until chapter 60 something? So you must pass all those chapters feeling like vomiting everytime the guy flirts and is shameless? Moreover, the MC who is a cultivator, somebody who must be at least a little smart after all those years... yet he feels bad for the guy and his gift, he allows this "scum" near his beloved sister and accepts his advances even though he despises him. And all this happens BEFORE knowing it was not him. Meaning, even if it was him it wouldn't matter, it would still be "ok". The fact that it was not him feels more like an excuse so they can be together without disgusting the readers. The other stinky shoe is the sister, she apparently knows about the future apocalipse, knows the guy (her fiance) doesn't love her but her brother (mc) and forgives it while "knowing" the guy is scum... It was alright because she told him to stay away from her family (because it seems the guy is also the reason of the death of her brother in the apocalipse) BUT, then she tells him to pretend to still be together to not worry the mc while he's hurt... If she's from the future she must know her brother is in a forced relationship, what part of seeing your rapist face can make you feel good? And if she knows about the guy not being the real rapist, why not tell your brother so he doesn't has to deal with it? She is like: i'm worried you'd feel worry for my relationship with your sexual predator so i'm bringing him home where he can harras you to prove you we are fine and you can rest easy and heal. I must say, i saw great potential in the author from how it was written, but the two major flaws in this story are: 1. The misunderstandings in a story are to make drama and keep you interested in it, not to make you feel grossed out for more than 50 chapters. This is a clear example of how not to make a misunderstanding in the plot. 2. The inconsistency in the characters, how if you say a character it's "this way" and then make them act as if they have no common sense inside their own character. If you love your family and they are the most important to you, you don't let scum take advantage of them or of you when you are perfectly aware of it without a fight (would you rather lie to your sister and hide her scum fiance actions knowing it'll be worse once she finds out? Instead of letting her cry and then move on you are betraying her and ruining her future if she doesn't find out before marrying. What makes you think a scum can make her happy the rest of her life when he is already cheating?) If you are a cultivator you are strong and must have good reflexes, no need to act delicate and unable to defend itselves (how is it the mc can't avoid the advances of the guy? Why are his abilities and IQ -0 when he is around?). And all the other major and minor examples of this mess that can only be explained by plot armor. I feel bitter writting this review because once you get these two things out of the way, the story is interesting and a good read. If you can ignore this sting in you eyes you may continue and enjoy it. On the other hand, the most bitter thing here are the comments of the people that are ok with the guy being a rapist and think it's valid in order to get the mc (even if it wasn't him, again, the mc didn't know). I just saw a few, but it felt so wrong to read those comments, especially the one with the meaning of "it's ok to be with a rapist, there are worst people out there". Just, be careful and don't believe everything you read.
I hate this type of ML, once a scum I can't see him more than that even though it's just some kind of misunderstanding. I hate stupidity, so this is not really my cup of tea. But of course it is not like the overall quality is bad, only I can't read this anymore because i dislike the character design.
The story is amazing and well written. Its a new take of reverse transmigration in the apocalypse, I know another novel with a similar premise, but both are very different and good in their own ways. MC's family is just so SWEET. Like I would die for them. The MC is nice too as he is relatable and his care for his family is really shown. I guess the only problem I have is the ML. Like, most novels would start with a sweet ML and then have him blacken later. But the ML, umm "consensual" sexual activities through threats of breaking off an engagement, stringing along a girl, and not even breaking off the engagement when he found his "true" love. Personally, it's disgusting, by human standards. And the MC (from where I am) sort of looks down on the original for not telling his sister, but then HE doesn't tell his sister. The MC and ML are a frustrating to me. The sister, well I'm more interested in her story while reading this, I even skipped chapters to read her backstory. Other than the MC and ML, the story overall is very good. Thank you for writing!

I have not checked this novel since last year and was so excited to see updates. This novel is one of my favorite "second chance apocalypse novels". I really hope to see more updates. The writing and plot are excellent!

Man, I'll be honest with you. I'm really not a fan of BL novels, but after I started reading I did not realize that I became so engrossed with the story that I forgot I was reading the genre which I previously avoided. I gave full marks for writing quality, although there were a few mistakes, but it's negligible. I hate to say it but I also gave full marks on character development even if it is BL. I'd like to give it a 4, but it deserves full marks in that area. So i had to swallow my stereotypes on BL. Overall, great novel with great potential. Highly recommended for BL fans (I am not a BL fan)

Really good so far. I read it in basically a day so I'm not sure about the update stability but I'm glad I found this story. I recommend reading if you like bl and apocalypse stuff. (duh, it's in the title) Be patient with story progression, everything will be explained. 😇👍
I like how the past and the future can be brought together to the present. It’s interesting. It’s like an arc. I wonder if the upcoming chapters will show what happen in the past when xinwen was still alive and a cultivator. Though I dont like the ML. I find him endearing at some parts but others parts a rather sinister love sick fool. Makes me wonder mc will fall for him or come to love someone else. Looking forward to new chapters 😍

It is a good story about an apocalypse but I really wish the mc give chance to the ml more. Anyway it is still a good read. Not much to say right now as the story did not reach the apocalypse part but I really much anticipate it. Keep up the good work auhtor-san. 😊
