While Trisha and Raylene were trying to figure out where that former maid could have disappeared to, that same maid was busy in some other place.

What they did not know was that she was neither in the Capital and nor was she in the Valente fief.

She was now in a whole other fief and was living a blissful life, much better than the one she experienced back when she was serving the Countess of the St. Claire fief.

The lady they had been talking about was laying on the bed, languid and carefree right at this very moment.

'If I had known that life would be this good here then I would have chosen this man much earlier.' Paula smirked as she glanced at her pretty nails which were often chipped in the past due to the hard labor her former Mistress used to demand of her.

What Paula was labeling as 'hard labor' was in fact the easiest task that Raylene would hand over to her.
