Chapter 60: Savior.

Bella raised her head from the desk when she heard her phone ring. She smiled when she noticed it was Zach. She couldn't wait to tell him how she had tricked Dan into eating the breakfast she had made. Her smile wavered when she once again remembered that Dan had asked her to prepare it every morning. 

"Hey!" 

"Hey! Are you okay?" Zach asked when he heard the weariness in her tone. Since he had finished running most of his personal errands and was bored, the only person he could think of to keep him company at the moment was Bella. 

"Yeah, just lying around here idle, waiting for the boss to finish with his meeting," Bella said with a yawn, making Zach chuckle. 

"Have you had something to eat yet," Zach asked, making Bella's stomach rumble hungrily as she just remembered that she was yet to eat. 

"No. I'm so hungry," Bella complained.

"Okay. How long before Mr. Williams is done with his meeting?" Zach asked as he glanced at his wristwatch.
