Chapter 57: Author's Note

I wrote this story, in the beginning, as a way to vent out my emotions and past trauma, then I decided to write it as a way to spread awareness to those in toxic friendships, relationships, etc.

My characters are all based on me, their stories are fictional - mostly Dani's - and I wanted to create a story between each character, which probably became a mess, haha.

But in the book, Dani lost herself during the majority of her high school life, and I used the emotions that I mostly had during my high school life to describe how it felt to attend a place where most of your issues are.

Lauren is a part of me too, she chased after Dani for years despite Dani's inability to remember her. I, as the author of the story, never had an experience like that but chasing someone who probably wouldn't like you back is something I've dealt with.

And although the smut isn't something I had experience in, I wanted to try writing lesbian smut without undergoing it.
