Chapter 129: Autumn Family

As soon as the principal finished his sentence, his expression immediately changed. He appeared guarded and solemn. His eyes were sharp as they watched Argan's every move and reaction. However, he witnessed nothing from the black cat. Argan was as silent as the dead while he sat elegantly on the ground.

It was as though what the principal had said just now didn't hold any significance to him. It confused Roy and he couldn't help but confirm, "Did you hear--"

"I did," Argan directly interrupted him.

"Then..." Roy pursed his lips, leaving his sentence half finished.

He wasn't sure what to say next because the other party didn't have any sort of reaction after hearing him declaring his identity. They just reached a stalemate where both of them were left staring at each other in a tense atmosphere.
