Chapter 36: A good night!

I wiped the sleep from my eyes and scratched my head in confusion. "The fuck am I doing in a bush?"
I looked around the park I woke up in, seeing one or two people walk by me as they gave me a funny look. "Where are my pants?" I questioned. Looking to the clothes below my waist, or the lack there of. I turned to my makeshift bed and saw the trousers I was wearing last night covered in...strange substances.
I picked my trousers from out the bush and stood up, opening a portal back to my house. 'I'll get my car later' I thought tiredly.
I appeared back in my room and yawned. I searched the dirty trousers for my phone and found it in the side pocket. I opened my phone and the bright screen lit up my face in the dark room. 'Lemme just open some blinds' I thought as I dragged back my blinds to let in some light.
I looked back at my phone to check the time.

[10 New messages!]
'Who messaged me so much man?' I thought as I opened up my messages. It surprised me to see that Serafall had done so... Many times for that matter.
[11:26PM] Sera- Hey, we haven't spoke recently! How are you?
[11:31PM] Sera- You awake?
[11:46PM] Sera- Do you want to hang out soon?
[12:02AM] Sera- Why are you ignoring me? Did I do something wrong? Im sorry if I did :(
[12:14AM] Sera- We can go watcha movie together if you want?
[1:23AM] Sera- It doesn't have to be a movie if you don't want?
[2:47AM] Sera- You there Arthur? Message me back
[3:26AM] Sera- Why are you with Azazel? Are you joining the Grigori!?? Please don't :(
'What the fuck?'' I thought to myself as I went through the messages I got from Serafall. 'How did she know I was with Azazel?'
I pushed the thoughts aside and looked at the other messages I had received.
[8:32AM] Zaz!- What's up kid! I put my number in your phone so you can contact me. Great night out, we should do it again!
'So I've got his number now then. Cool'
[9:01PM] Rias- You coming tonight? Its my last night before going home to train x
I shook my head and replied to each of them, starting with Serafall.
[9:38AM] Arthur- Hello Serafall. Im not sure when we'll be able to hang out. How did you know I was with Azazel?
Next was Azazel.
[9:29AM] Arthur- Waddup! No problem dude, we can hang out whenever, just give me a message.
And finally Rias.
[9:29AM] Arthur- Hey Rias. My bad I didnt reply, I was out last night. Good luck training, I might visit if I have the time :)
I sent all of them messages and put on some gym clothes, discarding the clothing I was wearing and putting them in the washing basket. I made my way downstairs to see that Nabe was in the Kitchen and I could sense Ophis and Asia in the living room. "Morning Nabe" I said to Nabe who turned around to look at me with a smile. "Goodmorning Arthur. I take it you had a good night out?" She replied as she walked towards me. "Haha, yeah I did. Me and you can have dinner out tonight if you'd like?" I asked her sweetly.
"Sounds lovely dear." She said, pulling a leaf from my hair and disintegrating it. I gave her a hug and kissed her on the forehead. We spoke for a little while along with me greeting Ophis and Asia, before I went off to train and get in the shower.

I dried my damp hair with a hair dryer and towel as I sat on my bed and gathered my thoughts from the night before.
*Ding*
Looking over to my bedside table, my phone flashed with a notification appearing on the screen.
[10:09AM] Rias- Yeah, no problem. Looks like you had a good night out with the governor general!
I looked at the message with narrowed eyes. 'How the fuck does everyone know that?' I thought to myself as I eyed the link she sent just below the message. It appeared to be a link to the underworlds equivalent to YouTube; DevilTube.

I read the title, blinking and rubbing my eyes in the process. I could clearly identify from the thumbnail, me and Azazel sat next to each other on the nightclub stage where people perform. I had a guitar in my hands and Azazel had the microphone. 'Since when could I play the guitar?' I thought as my system appeared in front of my face.

I clicked play on the video. It started with some simple chatter and music around the nightclub that slowly died down when Zaz tapped on the microphone. "Wassup everyone! I hope you're all having a great night! Me and my friend here" He said 'tapping' me on the shoulder. "Are going to play some music! HAHAHA! Enjoy!"
I started playing the guitar with me and Azazel singing into the same mic. At first I couldn't really recognize the song we were playing, but my eyebrows widened in realization.

The whole club sang along. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, especially a young woman standing near the stage. The video carried on with me and Zaz playing different songs, and the crowed joining in.
'Ah! A night to remember!' I thought to myself as I put my phone on the bedside table, preparing to get up and get dressed.
I dressed myself in a navy, three piece suit with a yellow handkerchief and tie and a silver pocket watch. I dressed formally due to the fact I was planning on meeting Rias's parents for the first time today and I wished to set a good example. I left the blazer off in favor of keeping it as just my waistcoat.
'I'm coming for you Venelana' I crudely thought to myself.
I left my room, making sure to pick up my phone and slipping it into my pocket. Asia was walking towards the stairs, seemingly only just getting dressed. "Hey Asia" I greeted her. She swiftly turned on her feet to look at me. Her eyes widened in appreciation of my look before looking away and blushing. "A-Arthur! Hello! You look...V-Very nice!" the ex-nun said meekly. I smiled at her and patted her head and she shrunk into herself, her cheeks reddening further, showing a small smile.
"Thank you Asia. You look lovely as well." I complimented her. "A-Are you doing something today?" She asked me and I nodded. "Yep. Im going to look at what training Rias and her peerage do in prep for the rating game with her fiancé." I spoke as well continued walking downstairs.
"That sounds interesting!"
"When I get back, how about me and you hang out for a while?" I asked her. She looked up to me and smiled brightly "Of course!" She said before running off towards the living room. Nabe was still in the kitchen, cleaning up from breakfast.
"Nabe~" I said as I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her neck, placing my chin on her shoulder. She sighed and turned to look at me. "Yes Arthur? You are interrupting my work." she said seriously. I pouted at her before replying "Hehhh~ Do you not like me? Are you just using me for the money I inherited?" I questioned her, still pouting.
Instant regret followed...
"OW OW OW! N-NWABE-CHWAN! IT HWURTSS" I said to her as she pulled my cheek. "Stupid boy. Don't say such things!" She said as she let go of my cheek and kissed me...On the lips, I might add. I smiled brightly and picked her up and spun her around. Her laughing and slapping my shoulders to say 'Let me down', made me laugh.
I put her down again and we smiled at each other before returning to the kiss. 'She tastes like cherries!' I thought to myself as we continued. After a couple minutes, we separated and smiled at each other. "Hmm, I'm going to check on Rias's training today. How would you feel about dinner in the underworld? im sure they would have some interesting meals!" I asked her, looking directly at her. She smiled and nodded her head "That sounds nice Arthur. What about Ophis and Asia?"
"I can leave them some money and instructions on how to order food" I said to her and she nodded in acceptance. I kissed her once more before speaking "Right, im going to search for Rias's signature and go. Goodbye my love, see you tonight"
"Alright Arthur, be safe" she replied.
I used portal to step into the underworld and spread out my aura in search of Rias. It didnt take long to find her destructive one. I teleported straight to where her signature was. She was surrounded by her peerage.
My sudden appearance garnered everyone attention and they all looked to me.
"Hello there!"
