Chapter 11: The Second Owner Hath Cometh!

AN = Sorry it took a bit more time than usual. I am... going to have a lot of hard times this year. I just recently went up a grade and now that I'm in my 12th grade... I need to think about a lot of stuff. It's annoying... but I must do it. I probably can still publish chapters but as time passes by, it's going to be a bit slower because of all that. Thank you for reading.

*Crack!*

A very loud crack surprised the two magi from their happy moment as they quickly turned their heads towards the sound. Their eyes were shot wide opened when they found what happened to the pipe Kiana had reinforced.

The pipe that was glowing with blue circuitry was now a very broken pipe that had lost its original shape. It has terrible cracks all over the body and looked as if it was caused by an explosion from the inside... Miraculously however, it hasn't break into pieces... If they could call that a miracle in the first place...

The two just kept staring at the pipe in silence before they finally processed what happened. Kiana was the first to react as she sighed and covered the blush on her face. She was a bit embarrassed for thanking Shirou after congratulating her for her success. Slightly frustrated and unhappy that he pipe break after all that. And a bit disappointed at herself for celebrating too quick. But even then, her determination was still strong enough to tell her to try again and succeed the next try.

Sighing at herself, she thought, 'I celebrated too quickly again... I thought, I had learned not do that anymore... Oh right... I'm not Kiana after her fight with Mei-senpai... I'm still the slightly more mature Kiana after losing... Ugh... Habits really do die hard even after everything... At least, some habits are good to stay hard.'

On the opposite side, Shirou could only give her a wry smile as he saw the blush and frustration showing on her face. He didn't expect the pipe to break like this... No... It was not suppose to break in the first place.

His gaze quickly fell on the broken pipe between them and frowned as he continued, 'Yeah... It should not have broke like this after the reinforcement is finished. If she failed, it would have broke before she stopped the flow of energy... Was this because of her energy inside her circuits?'

Curious, Shirou carefully grabbed the broken pipe -causing Kiana to look at him with an arched eyebrow- and took a quick long breath as he slowly closed off his senses. A hammer of a gun fired in his mind as he muttered, "Analyze, Basic Structure."

As his magical energy starts to flow into the pipe, a 3D image started to slowly form in his mind.

Basic Structure : Broken Hollow Cylinder. 72 centimeters long. 3.5 centimeters diameter. 6 irregularities found : 7 centimeter crack. 9 centimeter crack. 7 centimeter crack. 8 centimeter crack. 6 centimeter crack. Cracks have signs of being ripped apart and distorted from their epicenter...

(AN = I think his analysis should have been more detailed and complex because he has been using the spell for 8-9 years straight... But I can't make it that complex because I'm an ordinary 17 year old. Sooo... Ehe~!)

After a few seconds have passed, Shirou finally stopped the spell and felt confused, "Wha-How...? These cracks look like they were ripped apart from their centers... It also showed signs of distortion and some are bended violently... Was this her energy's fault?'

"Did you find anything so far?" Kiana asked with an arched eyebrow.

Shirou sighed and nodded, "I haven't went through the composition yet, but from the basic structure. I found that the cracks seemed to be ripped open from their epicenters and showed minor distortions. It was not enough to break the whole thing but was enough to make horrible cracks... It might be related to your energy but I don't really know much about it."

Kiana looked quite surprise before going back to her resting face as she contemplated on his words. While she was doing so, Shirou looked at the pipe once more and thought he would try and checked the composition while she's at it. Closing his senses once more, he fired the gun in his mind and muttered, "Analyze, Material Composition."

Similar to before, he let the magical energy flow into the broken pipe, but this time he went further that just the structure and information about its composition started to flow into his head...

Composition : Plastic > Polymer > Monomers - Corroded Monomers...

'Eh? Corroded Monomers? How-' The confusion caused him to lose concentration momentarily but that was all it took for his craft to break.

Feeling no more information being given to him, Shirou sighed and continued with his thoughts, 'Although, it was only a small amount... How are they corroded... Wait... Her energy was said to be dangerous to people that doesn't have resistance... Does that apply to things as well?'

"Hey, Kiana. Does your energy corrode things as well?" He asked with a slight frown.

Kiana had a frown as she tried to recall something about that... She then remembered the Honkai Weaponry they were thought in St. Freya before answering, "Yes. Things do get corroded when they are in touch with Honk-MY Energy... But they would need a long time to corrode and even if I focus on corroding... It's going to be very slow.'

"Hmm... That means the cause of the explosion is indeed your energy. Because when I checked the composition of the pipe. I found some of the monomers hear the epicenter of those cracks are corroded." He said before getting a bit worried. 'The more I hear about her energy, the more worried I am that it is inside her circuits... We should really focus on getting them out of there...'

"Hmm... At least, we now know what the energy does when I use magecraft... So did that mean I have done everything correctly?" She asked.

Shirou gave her a nod, causing her to be happy before realizing something very important that replaced her smile with a frown, "Doesn't that mean, I wouldn't be able to use something like this until I can figure out how to separate my energy from the circuits...?"

Shirou was going to retort that before finally processing it. If she wants to use reinforcement on something, her energy would make the spell unbalance and cause damage to the item... Shirou became silent as his head was trying to come up with something... but right now nothing was coming up.

Seeing that Shirou had not answer, Kiana felt a bit dejected. It has only three days and there's already a problem... She really can't escape destiny even after being merged and teleported into a new world... No.

Kiana frowned and unconsciously clenched her hand. She will not let fate do this to her. She will make this work like how she would have done so in her world. This was another obstacle she needed to face like all the ones before. She didn't gave up then, she will not give up now.

-East of Miyami Town-

Standing atop of a rooftop, Rin Tohsaka, wearing her signature red turtleneck, black skirt, and long black stockings, sported a confused and irritated frown as she stared at the japanese mansion in front of her.

'This... Is definitely not the Emiya Residence...' She thought as her eyes darted to the Yakuza-looking men playing blackjack in front of the gate. She did a quick look around and thought, 'Did I make a wrong turn somewhere?'

Ayako told her that she had visited the Emiya residence once, when they were in middle school. She said it was a traditional japanese mansion but didn't remember much of anything else. This however, although fits the description, was definitely not it.

'Yeah... That boy could never be affiliated with the Yakuza. He's too... nice to be one...' She thought before letting out a deep sigh and muttered, "Guess, I need to trace back my steps and check the other mansion... Miyami is not that big, so it should be near here..."

As she jumped down to an alleyway nearby, she heard a very familiar voice coming from the Yakuza mansion. "Guys! I'm going back to Shirou! Don't play around too much again!"

"Hai~" "Yeah yeah" "Kay!" Was the answer of those men as the sound of the woman's footsteps began to come closer. Rin's eyes shot wide opened in shock and disbelief when the woman went into her view.

Brown hair. Teal jacket. Tiger stripped shirt. She didn't even need to see more to figure out her identity as she said out loud, "Fujimura-sensei!?"

"EEEK!!" She screamed as she quickly turned to Rin and shouted in shock, "Tohsaka-san!?"

The two stared at each other in silent shock before Rin started, "What are you doing with them?! I heard you came out of that mansion with the Yakuza! You were even friendly with them! Are you related to the Yakuza!?"

"W-W-What do you mean?! I-I-I'm definitely not! H-How about you?! Why are you here?!" She asked, trying to change the topic to be about her. It was not effective.

"Don't change the subject, sensei! Are you seriously affiliated with the Yakuza?!" Rin asked in shock. She knew from her stuttering that she was definitely lying, but the fact she had ANY connection with the Yakuza was mind boggling. 'How?! She's a childish and carefree woman! How does someone like her be related to the Yakuza?!'

Taiga was sputtering useless defense as the seconds passed but with a single glare from Rin, Taiga flinched and finally caved in, "Fine! You got me, Tohsaka-san! I am with the Yakuza! Don't tell anyone please! I don't want to lose my job! I swear my grandpa's group is very nice! They just looks scary to normal people!"

'...Wha-Grandpa? She is the oyabun's grand daughter?!' She thought in shock. In times like this, she would have probably put on a cold resting face to scare them, but it was just too much of a shock that her jaw dropped and completely forgot about keeping up an image.

"Tohsaka-san! Please! How about I treat you to Shirou's cooking? He's very good at cooking!" Taiga said derailing her train of thought back to what she had been doing before. Looking at the puppy eyed woman infront of her, Rin sighed and answered, "Fine... Let's go to Emiya-san's house."

"That also means you won't tell anyone right?" She asked with a pleading look. Rin could only nod and watch in amazement at how fast her teacher's emotion could shift. "Yosh! Let's get going then! I think Shirou is making salmon today!"

Being pulled by the woman, Rin's only thoughts were at the time was, 'How is she the Yakuza's leader's grand daughter?'

Tuna Tuna Tuna~!

Sighing to herself and making air bubbles in the bathtub, Kiana grumbled, "Damn Shirou... I was so determined and had found some differences between my energy and magical energy... But even then, he just dragged me out of the shed to take a shower..."

Looking at the window on the top of the wall, she frowned a bit when she saw the sky was dark blue, "Time goes so fast when you're focus on something... I can't believe it's been a few hours in that shed already..."

She had found that there was differences between her energy. Honkai had more power and could power and keep up with her stronger abilities. Magical energy however... She didn't know what it could do fully but maybe when she experiment and have more information... She might finally get something out of the two and make stronger spells.

She played around with her wet hair and sighed, "Maybe some sleep would clear my mind out... I remembered that sleeping should help my brain with something related to learning... Maybe that would stack up with my wish. That's cool."

She sat right up in the bathtub and looked at the reflection of her yellow eye. She had found that her previous theory was correct. The honkai energy is causing the change to her body... Kiritsugu did say that the circuits are connected to the soul which is connected to the body.

'No wonder lancer's master became a potato when he was shot by his origin bullet... That's horrifying.' She thought before shaking her head and stood up from the bath. She had been here for quite some time now, Shirou must have finished cooking the salmon.

She wiped her body and hair with the towel before using the old clothes, Taiga had provided her this morning. A white collared shirt and a dark blue skirt. Honestly, this doesn't look half bad for her. Maybe with a tied up ponytail, it could match up better.

Smiling to herself, she went out the bathroom and heard a familiar shout from the front door. "Shirou! Kiana! I'm home~!"

'Oh? She's done with playing with the group? That's fast... Right on time as well.' She thought as she stepped out to the hallway. She saw Taiga with her usual tiger stripped shirt and teal jacket, smiling at her and said, "Kiana! Is the food ready yet? I brought someone to eat as well!"

"Eh? I don't think there's enough for... EH?! What are you doing here?!" Kiana asked in shock when the figure behind Taiga walked into her view. She had dark brown twin tails, wearing a red turtleneck with a cross on her chest and a black skirt.

She didn't even need a second look to know who she was. This was Rin Tohsaka... One of the main love interest of Shirou and potential magus teacher for both of them... And she's here in their house...

The aqua eyes fell onto her as Rin said with a smile, "Why hello there, Kaslana-san... We have a lot of things to talk about. Please take care of me."

AN = So, although this has been change from the refix, there are people that suggest I should give Kiana 70-90 circuits or a magic core. Now, I have tons of info for magic circuits but not Magic cores. I have nothing on that except a comparison that it is a factory compared to circuits that is a machine.

Omake : A Chance of Redemption

Opening his eyes, the blond man looked around at the blazing town and smiled melancholy, "Is this my hell? How fitting... After all the things I have done, I deserved to be sent here... But at least, I have finally saved Kallen... That is what I would never regret..."

*Thud*

Otto frowned in confusion as he looked down to find a young girl with auburn hair and golden brown eyes staring at him with no emotions... 'How... She's breathing? Not only that... A child like this should never arrive in hell... Wait... How was I in hell in the first place?'

Then it dawned on him. He was not dead. He was still alive. He sacrificed his soul to save Kallen at her last moments. 'That means...!' Looking down on the poor young girl who no more tears to shed, he felt as this was a chance given by Kallen... He could let his past be in the past and change...

Otto began to laugh before regaining himself and sighed, "I see... At least, I could do a few more good things in this new life of mine... Thank you... Kallen..."

Tuna Tuna Tuna~!

Walking into the room filled with recovering children, Otto had a small smile in his face as he found the girl he had saved from the fire a week ago.

It had been a very interesting week for him. Teleported in a safe world that had no Honkai. No Anti Entropy. Not even Shicksal existed even in history. He made a deal with the local Yakuza and created a lot of fake documents especially for today.

He had made many plans to make money and buy the mansion near the woods that was abandoned. They say there is a ghost living there but he wasn't scared of such thing.

Then there was that... Thing... It was a red sludge that gives his instincts a light shiver. It was definitely bad and he was certain it had caused the fire.

Saving the thought, Otto smiled at the young girl and greeted, "Hello, Shiro. How have you been today? My serum should have worked well healing your body right?"

The girl's eyes brightened as she smiled and nodded, "Umu! I feel a lot better after drinking it... I can also eat by myself. Thank you for everything..."

"Now now, there's no need for that. I just wanted to visit and asked something very important." He said while sitting beside her hospital bed.

"Would you like to be adopted?"

Shiro looked at him in shock as she asked, "Really?! Are you sure?! But I can't remember anything except from my name..."

Otto nodded and said, "Then let's complete the name and make it to Shiro Apocalypse. Because I have the papers with me already!"

Shiro gasped in shock at the paper that she couldn't really understand... But was still very happy that there was something to be shown as proof, "So, does that means you can teach me to be as smart as you?"

Otto thought about it and nodded, "Yes... You will be one of the greatest scientist this world has to offer... Just like me in mine."

Shiro had a little pout at the 'lie' he had said but nodded anyways because she felt that the emptiness in her heart could be be filled with this new goal of hers.

Tuna Tuna Tuna~!

In the far future, when the Fifth Holy Grail War has started. A woman with auburn colored hair, tied up into a ponytail and fearless golden brown eyes stand in front of the corrupted Heracles. She was wearing the custom battle suit created by her father before he left.

This was one of the many gifts given to her by her father and with a wide smile she muttered, "To think, I have the opportunity to challenge the mighty Heracles... Even when you're corrupted, you are still going to be one of the strongest fighters that I will fight in my lifetime."

Heracles didn't answer as he let out a loud roar and readied himself to attack. Shiro sighed and looked at her Water Spirit Type II, "This won't be very useful... Time to bring out the best to fight the best... Turns out dad was right about me watching too much anime."

Chuckling at herself, she activated the artificial stigmatas on her back as the image of a blazing town triggered her craft. She wanted to save Heracles after a promise she gave to a certain white haired girl. So in her name, she will help make that wish a reality.

Of course she wasn't doing it ONLY for her. She also wanted to have Heracles to test thing sout with him. How fun would it be to have Heracles himself staying in their house? Going through the plethora of memories her father gave her she finally found the weapon she wanted to use.

"It's time to calm you down, Berserker! Trace... On!"

Judging the concept of creation.

Hypothesizing the basic structure.

Substituting the composition material.

Imitating the skill of its making.

Sympathizing with the experience of its growth.

Reproducing the accumulated years.

Excelling every manufacturing process.

This was the normal steps she had to make to create such a weapon but it was incomplete because of a very important component. That's where her stigmata comes in.

Converting Mana into Artificial Honkai Energy!

Fusing AHE with Imitation!

Editing Imitation Properties!

... ... ... Completed!

Smiling to herself, she looked at the roaring Heracles and shouted, "Oath of Judah!"
