Chapter 100: <Athena's Trust>
Roy felt the diminutive pain on the back of his hand, and traces of blood flowed down the corners her lips, making her face more wildishly elegant, a rather strange combination indeed but very fitting to describe the goddess's demeanour.

Athena didn't respond but he found divine power running along Athena's lips, pouring into his body from the bite on the back of his hand. He was very familiar with this divine power.
It held exactly the same divine power fluctuations exuded by the Gorgon Stone previously.
Slowly, Athena released her grasp, Roy raised his hand to his eye level, looking at the row of tooth marks and the contusions on the back of his hand, and then glanced at Athena.
"This is a contract, the connection between us. From now on, this honorable goddess's fate will be interrelated with Roy 'Mrkl' Crowley, the Demon King on Earth, who has been authenticated by this goddess."
"This maybe your luck or your misfortune, for now even death cannot break off our link apart, even if you fall into the underworld, you will find this queen there, staring at you in the quiet wilderness as you carry on to become the demon king in the realm of death."

Although, Athena said that she would not help him against the Earth Mother Goddess, but Roy knew that some things couldn't be taken at face value.
The Goddesses of Earth have a good emblematic relationship with Athena, however, a considerable part of these goddess are probably not liked by Athena.
The character all gods and goddess are mainly self-centered and willful so clash is not rare, in fact, it's very normal.
Moreover, Roy's affinity with the Mother Earth Goddesses is not very good. Even if the he kills one, he will not be able to do a complete proper fusion of the spiritual foundation.

Erica adamantly held his hand, her tone was telling that she would not leave even if he asked her to.
"Haash! Forget it, I don't know how to reason with two stubborn iron headed girls. Leave it Lily, magic will not work one me, my body will recover on it's own."
Roy interrupted Liliana's act of wasting her magical energy and motioned with his chin, "Now that you two are already here, call a helicopter over to take us back."
"As you say, my king."
The resolute Erica still held onto his arm and drew out a mobile phone from between the gully of the perky mountains and called on to the mages under her.
'The magicians of this world are much cuter than the Type-Moon world. Fortunately, not damn crazy or something about using technology products.'
