Chapter 224: Announcement
I've made a firm decision to embark on a complete overhaul of this novel. It's been nagging at me for ages. At times, I've considered abandoning it altogether and starting anew. Yet, I believe in its potential, and I refuse to leave.
Significant changes are in store, particularly concerning Drak's backstory and Tom's characterization, motivations, and objectives, which will be rendered with greater clarity. Tom's erratic personality will be smoothed out, devoid of generic clichés and cringeworthy attempts at toughness.
My goal is to craft a truly engaging narrative, free from the constraints of tired tropes. You won't see any alterations until the entire manuscript has undergone revision, at which point I'll release it all at once. In the meantime, I'll continue to share chapters, though they'll likely be subject to revision. My aim is to feel proud of the story, something that's currently eluding me.
