Chapter 288: Reunion
"Nicklaus, Where are our siblings?" Elijah asks without beating around the bush.
Klaus looks at him and says amusingly "didn't I say that I threw them In the sea?"
Elijah isn't angry and looks at him in the eyes and says "I would have believed it if Rebecca wasn't involved. You 'may' throw everyone but you wouldn't throw her."
Klaus looks at him without saying anything. Yeah, this is the difference that happened because of his personality. It seems the whole family is aware of him and Rebecca.
Klaus laughs and says "let's celebrate first. Now that I have achieved what I wanted, all my siblings will get what they want."
Elijah looks deeply at Klaus and can see that he is not telling a lie. Which surprises him. Then he thought that breaking the curse was really his dream for thousands of years.
Elijah smiles and thinks that breaking this curse may be the best thing to happen to their family and this may give his brother true happiness.

Klaus stands in front of the open coffin and looks inside. Inside the coffin is sleeping his little sister Rebecca with a dagger on her chest.
Klaus sighed and thought "the me before was really a paranoid and petty type. Not believing even my own blood and daggering my sister because I don't want her to like someone else."
Klaus grabs the dagger and takes it out. He then looks back at the few humans and nods at them. They walk towards Rebecca and cut their wrist and bring it close to Rebecca's mouth.
Rebecca opens her eyes with a jolt and grabs the hand and bites it as she starts drinking.
Klaus stands at the side and watches Rebecca drinking to her full.
Rebecca turns to Klaus and gets out of the Coffin in a flash. She runs to Klaus and punches him as hard as she can, which sends him far.
She is damn angry now. She doesn't just stop there and run to Kalus again and punch him again. Klaus didn't stop her and let her vent her anger.
"You piece of shit."
"I always stood by your side but you daggered me."
"Again and again and again."
"I will kill you today."
Klaus got beaten up and down by Rebecca but he didn't do anything.
"Fight back" she punched harder.
Klaus only said "I can't be killed." This angers Rebecca more but what can she do? It is true.
After five minutes of fighting Rebecca stops and looks at Klaus with dark eyes.
Klaus gets up and pat the dust and asks "are you done? Or do you want to beat me more?"
Rebecca looks at him weirdly and asks "what happened to you? You smell different?"
Klaus smiles and says "I broke the curse." Rebecca's eyes widens and she asks "you really did it?"
Klaus nods and says"I am sorry. I won't ever dagger you again."
Rebecca looks surprised but she still can't believe him. Klaus walks towards the coffin and gives the dagger to Rebecca and says "keep it to yourself." Rebecca takes the dagger from Klaus and looks at Klaus with surprise.
Klaus doesn't say anything anymore and undagger Kol and Finn too. Both of them have their fill from the human Klaus has prepared for them and get some strength back.
After a few minutes he looks at them and says "let's go, Elijah is waiting for us."

"Brother," Rebecca says as she hugs Elijah. Finn and Kol do the same too. Klaus has given both of them their dagger to keep it to themselves.
Klaus looks at Elijah and gives him his dagger and says "this is for you and it's yours." Elijah looks at others with surprise.
Everyone nods at him. Elijah takes the dagger from Klaus and looks at him again. He felt happy for the first time after a long long time.
Klaus looks at everyone and says "I am sorry, my brothers. Hope you can forgive me and stay by my side 'Always and Forever'."
Finn looks at Klaus and asks "how long will it take for you to break your promises, again?"
Elijah looks at Finn and says "give our brother a chance. I believe this time he will keep his promise."
Finn turns to Elijah and says "we will see." He doesn't stand there anymore and leaves the apartment.
Klaus looks at Kol and waits for his answer. Kol looks at the dagger in his hand and says "give me some time." He also leaves the house.
Rebecca looks at Klaus and says "I need some fresh air." She also left after that.
Elijah looks at Klaus who is looking at him. He can tell that Klaus really wants this. Elijah put his hand on his shoulder and answered "I will always be at your side brother. Give them some time. They will return."
Klaus nods his head. He knows what he has done to them this thousand years. Now just because he has love for family and promises them, won't do anything to them will not make them forgive him immediately.
But he knows that they will return. They will come to him. And they will live together.

Klaus returns to his apartment where Kathrine is. He senses her drinking and dancing in the house. But when he reaches the door it seems Kathrine has heard him and turns off the music player and puts the bottle in the cabinet and sits on the chair.
Klaus opens the door and walks inside and sees her sitting on the chair acting like she wasn't doing anything.
Klaus looks at her and thought "this bitch is really a great actor"
He walks towards the cabinet and takes out the bottle of bourbon and turns on the music and walks towards the sofa.
He looks at Katherine and says "come here, join me for a drink." Kathrine gets up and goes towards him and sits on the couch that is to his left and waits for Klaus to give her some.
First it's because of his Compulsion and second she got a little courage as she thought that Klaus had succeeded in the ritual so he might spare her.
Klaus pours a glass for himself and gives the bottle to Kathrine. Kathrine takes the bottle and pours herself a glass.
She looks at Klaus and asks "will you let me go?"
Klaus sneered and thought 'so that you can make plans against my Queen?'
Klaus ignores her question and drinks the bourbon as he listens to the soft music. He needs to prepare for the future.
His future is not here in Mystic Fall. He needs to go to New Orlean. He also needs to make a great place for his princess.
Kathrine drinks and looks at Klaus. She is now completely at his mercy.
