Chapter 32: Something Naughty

The music on the dance floor was a smooth, reserved swing and blue notes, bossa nova song. Amy thought that she should not waste the courage that she borrowed from the vodka shots she just had with Anton and Rei.
She wanted to thank Henry for helping her for the second time around. Even though he helped her indirectly and it was only a coincidence that they joined that search. Without him, the solution that they are looking for would not be complete.

Earlier while drinking with Rei and Anton, she was thinking what kind of reward she could give him when he has everything.
She tried to ask for help from the two men who were closest to him but they gave her a very uncertain answer.
"Well, don't ask us, Amy, knowing Henry, he would only want one thing from you haha!" Rei smirked thinking of the lewd things that Henry would want for sure as he took his vodka shot.
Amy's brows creased with the way he laughed. From the sound of it, it looked like he was thinking of something naughty. She might be the innocent girl that Rei met before, but not anymore after all her research about couple intimacy and romance for her book.
She already has an idea of what might be the perfect reward that she can give to Henry but she is still unsure of which one should she do or give.
"And what is that one thing huh?" She asked.
"Amy, it is inappropriate for us to tell you exactly what it is, so I'll just give you a clue. Use your phone and search for 'How to make your rich boyfriend happy'," Rei chortled in his own advice.
Without wasting any second, Amy typed exactly what Rei suggested, 'How to make your rich boyfriend happy' on her phone. She was surprised to see a lot of results and now she's more confused about which one to follow.
"How would I know which one is right for Henry?" She innocently asked.
"Let me see that," Rei took her phone before she could respond.
He scrolled down and found, '15 Simple Ways to Make Your Rich Boyfriend Happy'. He briskly scanned the contents and handed back the phone to Amy.
"Look at this, those on the list should be good enough," Rei pointed out.
Amy excitedly checks each one on the list. The first one is 'Bring them breakfast in bed'. 'This is easy,' she thought. Next on the line is 'Hold their hand or give him a hug'.
'Hmm, we've done this before, I can do it again. I just have to initiate it this time.' Amy was smiling while reading the first and second lines on the list, seeing that those were things that she could do without feeling shy or awkward in front of Henry.
The third on the list is 'Do a slow dance with your partner', 'We've also done this before but we were bickering during that time, so I don't think it's counted.' She was so focused on reading the list that she jolted when Anton tried to get back her attention.
"Amy, don't listen to Rei. Seeing how Henry acts around you, I am sure that anything you do or give to him, he will surely appreciate it. I haven't seen him like this before, never ever." He is happy with the positive change that is happening to his best friend. He deserve it, he thought, after all the hardships Henry had experienced in life.
Hearing that from Anton, Amy decided to go back to the list later when she was already alone. She then felt someone touch her shoulder and when she looked up it was Henry.
She already took quite a number of vodka shots and felt a little tipsy but still in her right mind. The difference is that she's a little braver now to give Henry his reward.
And so that's when she decided to give him a big tight hug doing the second suggestion on the list. She heard Henry squabble with Rei and Anton about making her drunk, and she thought she was not when suddenly, the perfect music for a slow dance was played.

At the moment…
Amy took Henry to the dance floor almost by force where the smooth bossa nova song was playing.
Henry took the lead as soon as they reached the spot. He put her left hand on his right shoulder and her right hand on his left and they started swaying to the song.
Since Amy wanted their dance to be more romantic she thinks that Henry might like it. She moved her left hand closer to the back of his neck and put her right hand and head on his chest.
She felt Henry's body stiffen which made her crane her neck to look at him. He was looking at her as well and their eyes met.
"Is this awkward for you?" She asked worriedly.
"N-No, I-I was j-just taken aback. I was not expecting that you wanted to dance with me this way. Don't get me wrong I like it. Let's continue, please," he stuttered a bit due to his astonishment.
But hell he wanted that moment to last forever. Even though he didn't expect Amy to initiate something like that, he was ecstatic that she was becoming undaunted by their physical closeness and intimacy. He placed both his hands on her back and pulled her closer to his chest.
He doesn't care if her braveness is due to the alcohol in her system. They say that a drunk mind speaks a sober heart so perhaps she really meant this.
Thinking about it made him grin like a Cheshire cat, not caring if anyone would see it as they moved and swayed to the music.
"I bet you are, I just want to do this to thank you for helping me again when you don't have to. Thank you, Henry. And please allow me to make it up to you, ok?" Amy uttered while looking into his eyes.
'How cute,' Henry thought, and if Amy wanted to make it up to him, of course, he would not say no. It actually made him excited and pleased, eagerly waiting for what would Amy do next.
"May I know what you have in mind?" He asked out of curiosity.
Amy had a quick glance at the other points listed in what she was reading earlier that were not so wholesome that she suddenly remembered. Looking at Henry's manly face and being so close to him, gave her lewd thoughts which made her face turn red.
She had come across those things during her research for her book and the thought of doing that kind of thing with Henry is making her body hot.
Henry kind of knows that look on her face and the fact that she is now so pink made him smirk. He knows that he is starting to affect her emotionally and physically. With the way she is looking at him now, she is definitely thinking of something beyond Rated PG.
When Amy did not answer him after a moment of silence and just swayed to the music, he moved closer to her ear and whispered, "You're not thinking of seeing me naked tonight, are you? Your blushing cheeks say it all."
Amy was stupefied, her heart started beating faster, 'Am I that obvious?' She thought to herself. She touched her cheek and it felt warm. "I-It must be the vodka, I heard it can make your body warm you know," she elucidated even if she knew it was a lame excuse.
"You don't have to be shy or embarrassed about your feelings for me my angel, I don't mind. In fact, I would like to know how you really feel about me. I know that we are moving fast but I am serious when I say I want you to be with me for the rest of my life," he said confidently.
"I know Henry, I hear you…" that's all she said before she placed her head again on Henry's chest.
They stayed like that as they continued to dance to the music.
Amy was in deep thought as she almost hugged Henry. She is thinking about his question. What does she really feel about him? She is starting to like him and care for him but is it enough to accept him and be with him for the rest of her life like what he is suggesting?
Is she ready for a serious relationship with him? A relationship not bound by any contract or deal. She said to herself before that she would let him in. She will open her heart for him and let herself heal from all the pain and wounds that she got from losing her loved ones, but is that what she's really doing now?
Henry is not like the other men who tried to woo her. He is gentle like Ash who is a gentleman but more. Henry is not afraid to show her his true feelings and desires but does not push her to do something that's against her will.
He is perfect in her eyes and soul, but her stubborn mind keeps on weighing and calculating everything. And her heart was so battered by a lot of pain and suffering that it became cautious and vigilant. It had sealed all its windows and doors just like the saying once bitten, twice shy.
But she is willing to take the risk if it's Henry. At that moment, she will let time take its course and see how it goes for both of them.
