Chapter 69: The Beast Of The Apocalypse VS The Dragon God of Tyranny 3/3

Maulketh tossed his head back ripping out the impaled core of Trihexa. But Trihexa at the same time pulled its arm back along with his right arm. They momentarily separated as these wounds would take longer to heal. Maulketh reached above his head and pulled the large core of Trihexa off his horns. He placed the orb in his mouth before he swallowed it, but Trihexa did the same with his heart.

Trihexa and Maulketh were both Dragon Gods in a sense. Their bodies were not made of real flesh and blood. Their blood and flesh was made of pure energy, and they both just devoured each other's energy reactors.

An ocean of Divine Energy flowed through both of them which caused Maulketh to grow back his heart and Trihexa it's core. But they still had a massive ocean of each other's Divine Energy. That caused them to begin to actually get stronger.

Maulketh's Concept of Tyranny began to assimilate parts of Trihexa's Concept of Destruction of Trihexa which Shiva had given to him. And Trihexa's Destruction did the same for his own Tyrrany to become even stronger.

As the two of them dealt with their Concepts matching Hal began to sweat. Normally in a fight of such scale, they would begin to weaken, but the opposite was happening. Their aura and the destruction they could cause was becoming even higher.

Far off in the Solar System. Cyborg typed away at his virtual computers.

"Batman, their energy is not dropping, it's rising and rapidly."

Batman turned to Doctor Fate.

"Doctor, what can we do?"

Fate squinted his eyes behind his helmet.

"We would have to stop them before they grow even stronger. But in my opinion, only myself, Doctor Manhattan, Superman, Wonder, Shazam, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, and Fire Storm."

Batman tapped his foot as he watched Maulketh and Trihexa rear up for another clash. When both Dragons attacked once again, the shockwaves and energy radiating off of them were beginning to become dangerous.

They tore at each other, and they were even feeding off each other. But they were getting stronger through such action as they both could never run out of Mana. For over 30 minutes they continued to drift in the void.

But for them, those 30 minutes were days of endless battle. No matter how much damage they did, no matter how much poison, fire, or destruction they committed did the fight end? And strangely, they began to slow down their fighting.

They had been eating each other and slowly but surely they were communicating through combat. They would not be able to kill the other at all no matter how long they fought. This was a fight between two immortals which would not end.

Even to the Justice League, it was noticeable how they were slowing down.

"Hal. Get their attention."

Hal Jordon paused.

"Your joking?"

Batman shook his head.

"It's worth a try. They seem to have calmed. As they can't kill each other, it seems they are getting bored."

"What if they decide fighting me is more fun?"

"We back you up."

Hal sighed.

'Might as well try.'

He created a Megaphone and he used it.

"HEY!"

Instantly Trihexa and Maulketh who had their arms locked in a contest of strength turned to look at him. Both giant dragons were glaring at the other as their claws pierced each other hands. Seeing two gigantic monsters who were tearing at each other suddenly lock on you was surely unnerving.

But they had faced Darkseid before and won. Trihexa and Maulketh would not be any different. However, when Maulketh saw Hal Jordon he was suddenly confused. He may not have been into comics, but he knew what DC was.

"A Green Lantern?"

Trihexa turned to him now calmer.

"What's that?"

They let go of each other as he explained.

"Space Police who use Will power as a weapon."

"Like us Dragons?"

"Kinda."

Seeing how they were calmly talking made Hal sigh in relief. He hoped they stayed calm long enough to talk. Or else he was fully ready to delay them.

"I am Hal Jordon, Green Lantern of this sector. Can you two stop fighting, for now? You can finish your battle when it does not endanger my planet."

Maulketh looked at Trihexa who he had been fighting for days in his perception. Maulketh's helmet which covered his gigantic head began to retreat leaving his armored face exposed.

"You want to keep going?"

Trihexa's seven heads turned to him. Normally Trihexa would not converse with others, but after being sealed so long and unable to move, it could spare a few moments. And fighting Maulketh had severely affected the Apocalypse Beast.

"Let us stop fighting for now."

"Sure, I got to get back home anyway."

Suddenly, Maulketh's Balance Breaker was dispelled causing his armor to disappear. Ddraig, Albion, and Leavetine all had been silent as this was a type of resonance.

[Now that was a worthy battle of a Dragon.]

{Agreed, but do you know how to return home Maulketh?}

'Nope.'

Trihexa and Maulketh floated in the void of space. Trihexa was 800 meters long from its longest head to its longest tail. As for Maulketh, he was smaller at around 700 meters long, but the size was not everything.

Hal Jordon did not come closer, but two blinding flashes of Divine Energy forced him to close his eyes. When he opened his eyes, where Trihexa and Maulketh were fighting, now a man and woman were there.

Maulketh checked out his body and noticed he had not gotten any bigger. His black biker clothes were fine, but when he turned to Trihexa he was forced to pause. Next to him was a pale-skinned tall buxom woman.

Trihexa's hair was whitish blonde while her eyes were a deep gold. Each of her eyes had seven pupils, and she had 10 black horns emerging from her head. Her body was covered in black carapace-like armor.

When he saw that he fixed his hair a little.

"You had a gender?"

"You have one so do I."

Maulketh spread his Domain at its maximum power backed by his Concept and his Divinity. He tried to search for traces of the path they used to get to this reality. But he had lost all the traces.

He placed his hand and his right arm which was given to him by Great Red. Divine Energy surged into the mark as he tried to communicate with Great Red. He could feel a faint connection, but it was useless to get him back home.

"Well, shit."

Trihexa's own Domain surged alongside his own as she also tried to look for the path of destruction they had caused, but even with their Domains working together, they were lost. Entering the DC Universe was far easier than leaving it.

Maulketh did not rage as that would get him nothing. He would get back and hopefully not too much would have passed. He just hoped that Athena and Ares would be able to keep things running.

Hal flew closer to them, but not too close. He did not want them to go to Earth, but capturing them or fighting them especially both would be dangerous. And leaving them at large was equally dangerous. So he just asked them a simple question.

"What do you two plan to do?"

Maulketh sighed.

"Well, seems I can't return to my home reality after falling into this one. Not much I can do."

Trihexa on the other hand looked at Maulketh.

"If I will stick with you, let's make a pact."

"Why?"

Trihexa pointed at him.

"You are a Dragon God. A newly risen one, but a Dragon God and you fought me. So, we should work together until we can get back. And besides, it might be interesting to see how this goes."

Maulketh found that reasonable.

"Alright, what will this pact entail."

"We will avoid fighting each other, we stick close to each other, and we aid the other until we both wish to break the pact. I, Trihexa, Beast of the Apocalypse agree to these terms."

Hal was just watching as they went from ripping each other apart to working together. But hearing her title was scary enough.

"And I Maulketh Imperator Tempus, Dragon God of Tyrrant accept the terms."

Instantly they both felt a connection form to the other as their pact was made. Maulketh did not plan to stick with Hal, so he reached out and placed his hand on Trihexa's shoulder.

When he spread his Domain he already found Earth.

"See you Lantern."

In a flash of Divine Flames, both of them vanished from the void of space and directly onto Earth. Specifically, Dallas Texas which would be away from the rest of the stupid hero and villain bullshit.

Once they were in Dallas, Maulketh put his hands in his pockets. Now that they were on solid ground he could see how tall she was. She was almost as tall as he was with just a head difference.

"You sure you going to walk around like that?"

Trihexa looked at herself before her clothes were turned into a black dress. She created a pair of sunglasses like Maulketh to hide her seven pupils, and her horns became invisible to any one other than Maulketh.

"Better?"

He nodded.

"Better. I know where we are or at the least what Dimension we are in. This is the DC universe, which is a comic book series in my world. If that is the case, that means that works of fiction can be real in alternative realities like this."

Trihexa had an idea.

"Does that mean there are infinite versions of ourselves?"

Maulketh nodded.

"I believe so. Not sure how I feel about that knowing there are untold trillions of me out there. If I could I would make myself the only one of me."

Trihexa liked the sound of that.

"I would like that as well."

As they walked through the city, their restrained Domains began to take effect. With every breath they took, Mana began to increase around them. As they were both Dragon Gods, their naturally produced endless mana.

Keeping it all contained was pointless so the excess was released around them. With both of them, the levels of mana began to actually rise rapidly. As they walked through Dallas, in the Watch Tower the League was discussing what to do.

Hal Jodon was flying back through space rapidly, as he conversed with the other Leaguers.

"Seems they went from enemies to allies pretty quick."

Wonder Woman understood.

"They both claim to be 'Dragon Gods'. They are definitely Divine beings as they were using Divinity in their attacks. I believe they came to respect the other in their struggle as warriors do. But now those deadly fighters are here on Earth."

Superman thought out loud.

"If they fight again on a planet they will break it apart easily. We should look for them and-"

Green Arrow raised his hand.

"And what? Take them in? Where would we even put them? The Phantom Zone? They can break dimensions in their fight. Even if we some how send them there, what if they just break all the other crazies we have locked up in their in their escape."

Superman knew that was realistic.

"True. They are truly powerful beings beyond humanity. They can take a vast amount of suffering, they are gods, and they are here on earth. Offering them League status might be a thing."

Diana, or Black Canary felt that would not work.

"Not a good idea. From what I got out of that, their pride is a massive part of them. They could not kill each other, but they kept fighting to not be the ones to quit. Dragons in folklore are told to be prideful to the extreme, and what would their gods be like? Even worse. They might take being offered a spot on a team full of mortals as an insult."

Wonder Woman agreed with her.

"I should talk to them. As the daughter of Zeus, I would be a better fit to speak to them. I know how to speak to gods without angering them. If they meet Barry we are doomed."

Barry ran next to her and placed a hand over his heart.

"That hurts, but it's true. I would surely piss them off."

Batman suddenly turned to Doctor Fate.

"Can I assume they are on Earth?"

Doctor Fate could not read the Fate of Maulketh or Trihexa, but the Fates of the Justice League and even the regular people began to shift. As beings unbound by Fate, they could affect the Fates of others.

"Yes, and I can see they will be neither Hero nor Villain. If we make them our enemies, they will fight for blood. If we leave them be or even offer them our aid, they return the favor. But I actually don't think they are trying to hide.

Magic suddenly began to rise steadily in Dallas Texas. I believe they are there."

Wonder Woman stood up.

"I will go. Superman, will you come?"

Superman nodded.

"Of course."

Batman began to follow them.

"Count me in."

Wonder Woman was not sure.

"Bruce, you have to promise me that I will do the talking."

"I can be polite and respectful."

Wonder Woman gave him a distrustful look.

"Sure. Come on them. Cyborg, send us down."

Cyborg pressed a button and teleported the three of them down to Dallas to find Mauleth and Trihexa. But they are easy to find as they were both sitting inside on a random bench not even hiding their auras.

They had restrained their Domains as the Domains of Dragon Gods would kill mortals on contact. When Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman appeared in Dallas, Trihexa, and Maulketh noticed instantly.

Maulketh leaned back.

"Let's see how long it takes them to find us."

Trihexa turned to him.

"I am killing them if they piss me off."

"And I will do the same."

Now they just had to wait.

(Maulketh won't join the Justice League. I have been planning the DC side of this for a while as well as Fate. There are some powers, people, and items that are just great power boosts for Maulketh. Like, certain Lantern Batteries. 😈)
