As Alexander woke up, new alerts popped up on the panel:

"Hmm, what's going on?" Alexander frowned, jumping off the wooden bed and heading towards the council hall.

Along the way, he saw many workers toiling hard.

They were piling up stones and bricks, forcefully hammering each stone with cracked hammers and worn-out chisels to shape them properly.

Some workers were using rusty old pliers and nails, trying their best to repair whatever tools and building equipment were still usable, their foreheads slick with sweat.

Despite their enthusiastic efforts, the shortage of tools was visibly slowing down their work efficiency.
