Chapter 4: Life with the Callahans (4)

After a few hours filled with catching up, Annalise and Rafael bid goodbye to everyone leaving the manor and those who found a room to stay in the manor for the night.

Annalise carried Bea while Lydia and Rafael were behind waiting for Rue who kept stopping to yawn. 

"The three of you seemed to have had a long day. Don't think of forcing yourselves to stay awake any longer," said Annalise. 

"Can we sleep in bed with you?" Rue tiredly asked. 

Time had gone by too fast and Rue did not want to part from her parents yet even if it was just to sleep. What if she were to go to bed and then when she woke up they would not be here?

Annalise turned to face Rafael, needing his answer as to whether they could sleep with them tonight. It was nothing new to the family as the children would one by one find their way to their bed. It was either that they were scared, they missed her or Rafael, or they couldn't sleep.
