Chapter 57: Discoveries 

A moment after Vicente's punch landed on that training dummy's head, he witnessed a hole the size of his fist appearing in the wooden object.

His amazement was evident upon seeing this as he opened his mouth in disbelief, for until yesterday, he had never managed to damage that dummy!

'Impressive! And I didn't even try to use much of my strength!' He exclaimed in his mind, realizing why it was necessary for the newly awakened magicians to go through a period of seclusion.

Without taking the time to understand one's own abilities, there was a risk of endangering those in their surroundings and also harming themselves.

By advancing a stage in magic development, a magician's powers would temporarily become destabilized, resulting in them either using more or less strength than they intended to.
