Chapter 3: The members
~3rd person~
After a short nap, Adam woke up. And after confirming that yesterday wasn't a dream, he immediately opened up the Chat Room, before being bombarded by a lot of notification
[Sentient game character has joined the Chat Room]
[I'm a slime, so what? has joined the Chat Rom]
[Exhibitionist has joined the Chat Room]
[Advocate of gender equality has joined the Chat Room]
[Schizophrenic spider has entered the Chat Room]
....
The chat was silent for an hour
[Advocate of gender equality: Is this some sort of scam? Where is my promised content??? ]
Until someone decided to interrupt this serenity
[Advocate of gender equality: I can't even delete it.... RIP my PC]
[Advocate of gender equality: And what the hell is with this nickname???]
Adam only saw this guy complaining by himself for 5 minutes
[Exhibitionist: What's this? Is this some sort of sacred gear??]
[Advocate of gender equality: Sacred gear? Are you a chunibyo??]
[Exhibitionist: What do you mean? Aren't you a supernatural race?]

These two continued arguing about the supernatural races for five straight minutes

Adam looked at the person's words with narrowed eyes while wondering if he/she were actually a game character who was aware that they were in a game
"Wait...." Adam just remembered that honkai impact 3rd was also a game. And he is also in that game right now
Didn't that mean that he was also a game character?
[Schizophrenic spider: Has my golden finger finally arrived?! Will this make me op and get me out of this hellish dungeon??!!]
Before Adam could continue his existential crisis, the message of another member interrupted his thoughts

The last two are okay, but the first three are the problem. The world of Tensura and DxD are very dangerous
"From their reactions, it looks like this Chat Room actually...scammed them?" Adam couldn't help but mutter, dumbfounded at the wickedness of the Chat Room

[Devourer (Admin) has disabled nickname changes]

[Exhibitionist: Are you responsible for this?? And you called me an exhibitionist?!]
[Sentient game character: Eh~? Are you the Admin? Are you a developer?]
Adam looked at all the messages calmly while thinking about the words that he should use
[Devourer: I have about the same knowledge as you. So don't go throwing random questions at me]
[Devourer: As for the authenticity of this Chat Room, go to the options and select portable mode]
The chat was silent for while after his reply
[Advocate of gender equality: Okay, I'm out. I have better things to do than listen to bullshit, I'll fix my PC later.]
[Exhibitionist: Is that so? Is this one like those things in anime? Can it help me with cancelling my engagement??]
[Sentient game character: Huh? Does this Chat Room connect to people from the real world?]
Looking at these two questions, Adam normally wouldn't bother to answer them. But he needed to become friends with the members of the Chat Room, regardless of who they were
[Devourer: This Chat Room can indirectly help you. As for your engagement, you can only cancel it with your own strength, Rias]
[Devourer: As for your question, Sentient game character, it is complicated. I don't know you so I can't really know about your situation]

[Sentient game character: My name is Monika]
[Devourer: Just Monika?]
Adam's eyes couldn't help but widen at the last message "A self-aware game character, the specific spelling of this name... It is Monika...." Adam only knew a character like this one from DDLC, a horror game disguised as a dating game
Well, that world was artificial and the only danger there was Monika herself with her Administrator Authority. But outside of that, Monika is a normal human with above average coding skills
[Sentient game character: What is your name?]
[Devourer: You can call me MC.... ]
[Sentient game character: .....]
[Sentient game character: eheheheheheh~. Don't worry!! Don't worry!! I will call you main character from now on if you want~!!]
Monika that was currently sitting on a chair on her space classroom looked at the Devourer's message with sparkling eyes and a huge smile on her pretty face
"Hehe~, This Chat Room has already changed this boring place. As for Devourer... Hm~, I wish I could meet him~" Monika continued as she looked at the Chat room again
[Exhibitionist: HEY! Don't ignore me!!]
[Devourer: What is it, princess?]
[Exhibitionist: Tch. Please don't call me that!]
[Exhibitionist: And what faction are you from? I want to meet and negotiate with you about my nickname]
[Devourer: Well too bad princess. We are seperated with a distance uncountable by numbers]
[Exhibitionist: Eh?! What do you mean!?]
Adam didn't waste time explaining, he just sent some pictures of Nagazora city and it's more futuristic places
[Devourer: *Nagazora city*]
[Exhibitionist: What's this place??]
Rias was currently sitting on her desk at her occult research club, looking at the picture of Nagazora city
"I have never seen a city like this... Is it a hidden futuristic city of a Pantheon?" Rias pondered and looked at the Chat Room again
[Devourer: While your world is modern. It isn't as technologically advanced as my world]
[Exhibitionist: Your world??]
[Devourer: You've heard of the dimensional Gap, yes? Well, this one is beyond that. A world completely different than yours]
Rias didn't reply for a while
[Exhibitionist: I see... ]
[Devourer: You're not gonna question it?]
[Exhibitionist: Well... I've seen a lot of anime. Although I'm a little surprised, I'm actually more excited at the chance of different worlds]
Adam that was lying on the bed stood up and sat at the side while chucking "heh, what an Otaku..."
[Exhibitionist: But how do you know my name?]
[Devourer: ... I've been lucky to have the chance of knowing some future events]
[Exhibitionist: Ah? Do you know if I managed to cancel my marriage with that douche?!]
[Devourer: Would you believe me if I said that you were saved by a pervert who wanted to be the only one to touch your boobs?]
"WHAT!?" Rias that was previously calmly sitting was now standing up with a blushing face with both her hands slapped at the table
[Exhibitionist: Are you telling the truth?!]
[Devourer: I have no reason to lie]
[Devourer: So you better pick up your lazy ass and train to get stronger. Goodbye for now]
[Exhibitionist: Wait!!!]
Adam closed the Chat Room and went on with his day. He didn't have time to play questions and answers with Rias, he had to prepare for school tomorrow after all...
it also helped that this made him more mysterious that he actually was. He has to admit it's cool being the only one who knows so much about this situation

Although this Fan-fiction's main focus won't be the Chat Room, it will still take up a considerate part of the story
So with that in mind, I wanted the members to be those you don't see often in other books of similar genre. I also didn't want all the members to be female... Because frankly, that's unrealistic
