Chapter 19: Freedom

From now on, it will be one chapter per day, but as an incentive, here are the goals for extra chapters beyond the daily ones:

Top 1 - 4 extra chapters.

------------------------------

Hey, I noticed that the rating from a No-Harem staff member is the most appreciated (Yash_Shah_7482). If you join in, like the other reviews, and put the bad review (Yash_Shah_7482) at the end, I'll release an extra chapter today.

------------------------------

Oh man, I didn't want to post another chapter today, but you guys are so cute.

So get this!

------------------------------

"You call me a wife, but you don't even know my name?" She asked, amused. "My name is Yao."

"Well, love at first sight is like that. I'm Tony Stark." I said jokingly, to which she just tilted her head slightly and didn't react much, just continued smiling and staring at me.

"Well, you won't embarrass me by staying silent. You should know that. Now, tell me, how much time do you have left if you break your connection with the dark dimension? And your soul, will it be hurt? Is there anything else we need to be cautious about?" I asked, concerned.

I don't love her yet, but I know I will.

If that didn't happen, she wouldn't indirectly reveal that we have a happy life together in the future.

Don't get me wrong, I would help her even if she wasn't my wife, so her admitting that she will be is just further proof.

"I'm still curious how you know about this, but even in the future, I won't be able to pry that out of you," she said, curious, and continued.

"My body, after all this time, is only being sustained by magic. I need Extremis to repair my body before I break the connection. I knew about the Extremis that Maya Hansen would create, but it could never save me. It was riddled with flaws and would ignite when it entered my body and clashed with dark energy." She said, surprising me. I hadn't thought about that.

"And even if it weren't for the flaws, the energy in my body would quickly fry the nanotechnology. Only your perfect Extremis in conjunction with your nanotechnology, which can safely handle vast amounts of energy, can help me." She explained everything at once to me.

"Does that mean I don't have to do anything else?" I asked, with a puzzled look.

"...Yes!" She simply said, with a playful smile.

"Why didn't you come to me sooner?" I asked, confused.

"*Ahem* You're too young for me. I was embarrassed." She coughed into her fist and then admitted.

"Hahaha!" I laughed, amused, and said, "You're surprisingly cute!" I said, poking her cheek with my finger.

Her eyes narrowed, but she didn't do anything and let me.

"You do realize you're not in free fall through a portal just because I saw a lot of our future together, right?" She said, her head slightly tilted, gazing at me.

"Yeah! Ever since you admitted to seeing our future together and it worked, I already consider you my wife. It's kind of hard to love you right now because I just met you, but I'll do my best to love you as quickly as I can." I said seriously, looking into her eyes.

"You're an incurable fool, both now and in the future." She said, shaking her head at me, but there was a warm tone in her words.

"It's a bit strange, you know. I knew you a little, and you, I think, kind of know me a lot, right? But neither of us really knows each other. Well, we'll have to change that. How about we get you fixed up and go on a date?" I said, feeling a bit strange.

Since I reincarnated, I've been the one who knows things, and others don't, but now I see a two-way street here.

"Ohh? Fixed me up? It seems like my appearance doesn't please you." She said with a smile, teasing.

"You understand I'm not talking about that. And I'm not that much of a slave to appearances, but if you can improve, why not?" I said confidently, taking a sip of tea... tea made by someone who has been making tea for 1000 years is really good.

"Well, then, let's do that." she nodded with a smile, amused, and got up.

"Jarvis, a portal will be opened in the garage now. There's no need to activate the protections." I informed Jarvis and then looked at Yao.

She nodded and extended her left hand, while she twirled her right hand, and a portal opened in front of us.

Entering through the portal, we appeared in my garage.

Portals are so convenient.

"Jarvis, prepare for the Extremis infusion." I said.

Actually, I could simply control the Extremis in my body and infuse it into hers, but this version wouldn't give her complete control of the Extremis since it would be more under my control.

I only did the correct infusion for my wives. My other subordinates had Extremis under my control.

Yao walked over to the table as if she already knew what to do... which she did.

Letting her clothes fall and standing naked with a simple wave of her hands, she lay down on the table, and the operation began.

I carefully observed her body and form. I like to remember what my women looked like before the transformation.

Soon the infusion was complete, and a beautiful woman emerged from the chamber. Well, she wasn't bald anymore.

Extremis, you son of a bitch. You are the best thing I could have created. I love you 3000!!

"I thought you were going to keep the bald look." I said, amused, but also a bit relieved.

I don't mind her being bald, but we all have some personal preferences. We also have a say in Extremis transformations, so if she wanted to remain bald, she would.

"I lost my body hair due to the corruption of the dark dimension. My eyebrows were just illusions. I had to do this to avoid ridicule and hide that I linked myself to the dark dimension." She said with a bitter sigh.

"The longer the time passed, the weaker I became. In the battle against Kaecilius, I was already a walking corpse. Even if he hadn't stabbed me, I would have died from organ failure. That's why my fate was sealed that day until you arrived. Even if I had escaped the battle, I would still have died." Yao explained as she looked at her new body, marveling at it. Then she used a spell, and her clothes returned to her body.

She clenched her fists, and the mark of Dormammu appeared on her forehead and became brighter and brighter until... it exploded into sparks of light and disappeared.

"Ahh! I had even forgotten that feeling... so light. So... comfortable." Yao smiled brightly and closed her eyes slightly. It was then that tears began to flow down her face, running down her peaceful smile.

My heart squeezed when I saw her tears. This woman had carried a huge burden. Every day she used that stone to peer into her future, to do her best for this world, all while facing her own death.

I approached her and held the sides of her face, using my thumbs to wipe away the tears from her cheeks. She opened her eyes and looked at me affectionately.

It was only now that I glimpsed her new appearance. Her bright, beautiful blue eyes hadn't changed from before. Her slim face had filled out a bit more, and her long blonde hair cascaded over her shoulders. Her once slender body was now curvier.

*Cough**Cough* Well, a high-quality beauty. Thanks, Extremis!

"You don't have to carry this burden alone anymore. I'm here for you now." I said softly to her, looking into her eyes.

Then I leaned in and kissed her lips.
