Chapter 214: To the Hospital

The police came almost fifteen minutes later.

During this time, the restaurant's manager came out and stayed with the couple while apologizing for what happened around their premises and ensuring that Tang Shi Yi was alright.

The staff bought a glass of warm water for Tang Shi Yi, hoping that she would calm down. With Ye Heng's request, they prepared a bag of ice to use on her cheek. 

They stayed around until the police arrived. Ye Heng stayed with his girlfriend as she gave her statement to the police.

Fortunately, the restaurant was willing to cooperate and let the police look at the security recording around the parking area.

Once the police left with the manager, Tang Shi Yi lowered her head again. She held the jacket that Ye Heng put around her body tightly. She was holding the glass of water with her body shivering.
