Chapter 8: the big event
''As we imagined, there is no one in the city, everyone is in the coliseum watching the battles.'' Leonora commented, while looking around.
"Yes, it seems to be a grand event." It was a place with a huge structure, thought Evangeline.
"HEEEE!!" The euphoric screams could already be heard
''Leonora, will this spell of yours be able to last until the end?'' Leonora had placed a spell on the hoods, it wouldn't fall easily
''I don't know, I hope the spell lasts for a long time, Angeline.'' At this moment, there were only Rael, Evangeline and Leonora together.
Rose had gone to register the team and, since no one imagined she would make any kind of mess, they let her go. Soon she returned, saying she had signed up for the team.
As for names, she changed her name, saying she was Rosaria. Just to prevent suspicion.

"As we see at short notice, our battle is next" She had just recovered from a fight and was already wanting to fight again. 'Rose has a great fighting spirit.'

"Yes, follow me, she said it was this way." Rose took the lead and led the group. During the short journey, they saw some parties that they missed, noticing their clothes, Rael assumed that they were parties of humble and common people.

"THIS IS THE COLISEUM! MADE FOR DUELS! WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE??!!!" He was excited and shouted at the top of his voice.
'He must probably be using a spell to boost and increase the tone of his voice, this audience is huge.'
''BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD!!" The audience was excited and euphoric. Even the same children watched the show.
'tudum tudum*'' men were playing musical instruments, like drums.
'tum. tum. tum...' Leonora's heart was beating quickly, she was excited, anxious and perhaps a little afraid of what was going to happen.

The other group, which had no name, entered the arena, the one made up of Rael, Evangeline, Leonora and Rose.

''Ridiculous name? look at what you said, hihiihi bloodthirsty, this name is ridiculous, not mine!" Leonora spoke in her own defense.
"Hrump! Shut up scammer witch, hm maybe we should name it, Lenora the scammer, oh yes that's a good team name hahaha." Rose responds to Leonora with a sarcastic comment, which makes Leonora feel a slight anger towards this vampire.
"Fufufu~ You two are horrible at choosing names, blessed ones, it would be the best option." Just like the others, now it was Evangeline's turn to give her opinion.
And while the three women argued, Rael took the lead and approached the presenter. The audience found it funny and a little strange, they couldn't hear the reason for the argument.
"Aren't they supposed to be a united team?" Someone from the audience commented.
''Why are they covering their faces?" A child spoke, asking his father.
"Maybe they have some illness, who knows." The father was also curious.
'Sickness huh, now that I think about it, I became a vampire and I'm not affected by the sun, maybe it's because I'm a dragon or could it be that this weakness, towards the sun, doesn't exist in this world?' Since Rael turned into a vampire, he hadn't even thought about the weaknesses of vampires in this world.
The sun didn't seem to affect Rose, so he quickly thought of some possibilities.
'In fact, at no point did Rose advise me about protecting myself from the Sun, or even give me any magical device.'
'She must be a special vampire or the sun does not affect vampires.' The three women who were arguing before saw that Rael had come close to the presenter.
''Rael must have chosen the suggestion I gave.'' The vampire commented confidently.

"Why display such shameful poses? Shouldn't they at least wear armor or clothing..." Just like a famous crowd entrance, they entered carrying the biggest man in the group. He stood over them triumphantly, showing that he was the leader.

"Klaus, this is our leader, there's no way a woman wouldn't fall in love with him, I'm proud of him for being the leader."

"Hehehe" not only her but also Evangeline and the entire audience laughed after a moment. Of course, Rose and Evangeline laughed because they thought Rael was very shameless. The audience laughed because they thought he was a complete idiot.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA" No one in the audience held back their laughter, everyone without exception laughed. "That's why they must be covering their faces, they should have known they were going to be embarrassed like that hahaha" people commented in the audience.

But inside a place, from which no one could see, noble people were sitting on luxurious chairs. "Interesting..." A certain person at the top commented, observing the hooded man.
"Interesting? If Your Highness says so, who am I to deny it." A man who was sitting close to the queen commented.
"Mr. Endric, maybe you can't see what I'm seeing." The queen who was previously discouraged and not caring about the battles, was now focused on the fight. His eyes were wide open, looking at the arena.
'He looks a little like my dear nephew...' The queen while fanning herself with an elegant fan, thought of her relative with a happy expression.
Even with the hood on, the queen could see through it.

Everyone around was surprised that the expressionless queen showed a smile, even if it was minimal.
But they didn't know what she was feeling.
Her heart was beating rapidly. Her legs were shaking with excitement, just remembering her precious nephew, she started to fantasize.
"Yes, I agree with mom." A woman who was sitting next to the queen says. Just like the queen, she shared the same opinion and in the same way, she looked at the arena, paying attention to every detail that happened.

Rael shrugged off the audience's comments and just returned to his group. Waiting for the battle to begin.
"RIGHT GUYS, NOW LET'S BEGIN! FIGHT!!" The presenter shouted with all his enthusiasm and soon disappeared from the arena.
"Look leader, this idiot doesn't have a shred of shame!! Hahahahah what an idiot, doesn't he have any shame in others? He had to be a chicken."
"An?" Veins popped on Rael's forehead.
'These burglars make a show of being retarded and I'm the idiot?'

"WE HAVE THE WINNERS! WITH RECORD FINISHINGS, THE WINNERS GET THE BEST!!"
"Good job" returning to his team, Rose received praise from everyone. She was happy to be praised by Rael and receive a cup of coffee, but she didn't just want that. And Rael understood that by pulling her into a cozy hug, she enjoyed the feeling of comfort he conveyed and not only that.
The fire and desire inside her burned and pleaded for Rael, more and more she was reaching the limit.
'Tease her more and more... I'm going to finish you Rose...' Bringing his mouth closer to Rose's ear, Rael whispered.
"After we win, you can do whatever you want with me, if you can, you want to drink my blood, don't you?"
'I'm will finish you in the bed...'
"Annm*" She couldn't help but salivate as she remembered her delicious blood, not only that, who knows she might even get more...
Before Rose could go crazy with just a hug, Rael released her. Now, looking at Leonora he made a request.

Rael just waved and looked at the audience, specifically the place covered in black glass that hid whoever was inside.
"As the name of our team says, we are the winners. Let's speed this up soon, bring everyone at once, if you win, I will give the vampire Rose and the swindler Leonora to you, detail: I will give them alive."
"Annmnn what???" The poor mage and the vampire exclaimed in surprise at Rael's sentence.
