Chapter 15: His Prey

Genevieve's eyes were glued to the TV as the host said all sorts of things about her.


'Fuck boy' 'sugar baby' 'slutty'

Those words echoed in her head repeatedly, and no matter how hard she tried to block them out, they wouldn't go away. The words rang in her head like a cruel reminder of her reality. Her legs became too weak to support her tired body, and she slumped to the ground, looking defeated.


Genevieve was confused about how her entire career had come crashing down in one morning. The pictures of her walking out of the room wrapped in a bedsheet were spreading across the country like wildfire.


She already knew that she was doomed, and it wouldn't be long before her parents saw this--that's if they hadn't already seen the news.
