Chapter 29: Suits You

Genevieve eyes narrowed at Amelia and she wondered what the sly sister of hers was up to.

Well if it was to please her curious sister then she was going to open the 'gift' but apart from that she wasn't ready to open it even if the old man had insisted.

"Yes Eve, open it and show us what Mr Calhoun got for you." Mrs Roman chipped in. She also couldn't help but guess what was in the bag, with the shape and size she could tell it wasn't something of great importance.

Genevieve sighed and then nodded in defeat, she took the bag and brought the red box in it. She didn't bother to act excited as she wasn't in any bit excited to see what was inside. If it wasn't for her mother who spoke up she wouldn't have bothered, she was ready to argue with her sister after changing her mind. That would take some time from their 'dinner'.

"Here we go." Her voice lacked exhilaration but not the other two women.
