Chapter 122: A Bad Girl

"It's 3:00 am but Lanny hasn't arrived yet," Enzo mumbled, checking the time on his phone.

He kept tossing and turning around his bed. He hadn't slept yet since he was waiting for Lanny's arrival.

He called Athena last night regarding Lanny. But Athena just told him not to worry since Lanny went to the club owned by Vladimir.

"Sigh. Should I call her? Don't tell me she sleeps in a hotel room together with a guy?" 

Enzo sat up on his bed, dialing Lanny's number.

Ring! Ring!

Her phone was ringing but Lanny was not answering.

"C'mon, Lanny. Please answer me." He contacted her again.

Enzo got off his bed and headed outside. That was also the time Lanny alighted from a taxi cab.

"Oh, is that Enzo? What is he doing outside?" Lanny mumbled as she traced her steps toward Enzo's spot.

"Did he wait for me? Hmm… I should pretend to be drunk." Lanny smiled mischievously.

Contrary to Lanny's expression, Enzo looked so serious.
