+1 PP
+1 SPP ( Special Perk points are used to buy special perks that can improve the fighting capability of the host or other factors, SPP can also be converted to 10 PP)
Please Choose a Special Perk:
The mind of the Sage (Int, Wis and all Int/Wis-related skills will grow 25% faster)
The body of the Warrior(Vit, Str, Con, End, and all Vit/Str/End related skills will grow 25% faster)
The agility of the Thief(Dex, Per, Cha and Dex/Per/Cha-related skills will grow 25% faster)
Special Perks can only be bought when shown, so at level 20 you won't get the possibility to get one of the other two perks

Having the option not to pick the Special perk now, I close the window and return to my current situation, my current job more important.
I go inside the house and help the others loot everything useful, taking for myself most of the weapons since no one wanted them, and also a portion of the Eddies we found while looting the bodies.
But the most important thing came from a room I had not gone inside till now, a room that was way colder than anything else in the house, one filled with ice and naked bodies.
They were scavengers after all, so, of course, the bodies of their victim had to be stored somewhere, unfortunately, none of them was alive, my eyes stayed on the bodies for far too long, making Maine look at me and approach me.
" First time?"
"... No, just thinking."
" And what might the oh so great Rookie be thinking about."
" That I could have been one of the bodies there." There was no reason to hide it, it was a genuine fear that anyone could have, and considering the life this body had before I arrived, I had been lucky I wasn't reduced to a JoyToy.
"... But you aren't, no reason to dwell on the ifs, simply live the moment," Maine said after patting my shoulder, for the first time since we had met a sincere smile was on his face, not of pity or compassion, but more like he understood what I meant and knows how scary it would be for anyone to find themself in a Scav's hideout while being naked.
I nodded and finally stopped looking at the bodies, but then something caught my eyes, my 20 Perception made me barely able to see it, a singular muscle spasm, sure bodies can have those even after death... but what if?
My body sprang into action removing the other body that was lying on the one I had seen moving, and there lying like a plastic doll, was a woman with several scars from implants being forcibly removed from her body.
Not wasting a second I took her out of the tub while shouting to Maine to get me some clothes.
After connecting myself to her biometer, I had to forcefully eliminate the Virus that was stopping a signal from being sent to the Trauma Team, but before they arrived she would have died, I needed to do something.
After Maine finally returned with some blankets I had already started working with both my cyberdeck and computer to save the woman, first by creating a weaker version of the Overheat demon to quickly raise her temperature, creating it so it wouldn't attack certain areas where the heat would do more damage than good.
I also used one of my nanomachine Injectors to close any of the wounds that hadn't healed properly, while checking her pupils I saw something that made me want to kill the Scaves again.
There were no eyes, only empty sockets that left few possibilities to the imagination.
After the Biometer started signing that was going to be alright, the Trauma Team sent me a message through her to get out of the building, their arrival being a few seconds away.
While covering her in blankets I lifted the woman and slowly walked outside, no one talking or doing anything just staring, while the Trauma Team arrived and grabbed the woman, quickly placing her inside their car and leaving a few seconds later, no words were spoken.
I continue looking at the slowly fading car, my mind continuing to remain calm even though I wish for it to not be.
" Are you ok?" Rebecca was the first one to have the courage to talk to me.
" Yeah... I think I just need a drink." I told her while smiling, trying to get my mind off what had just happened, of what could have been another body in Night City, that no one would have ever remembered.
" That's what I wanted to hear, let's get back to the car so we can get one."
I nodded and went back inside to grab the things I had left behind, no one else saying anything while going back to the bar where we had encountered.
The taste of the drink wasn't great, but at least the effect of the alcohol made my mind wander away from the image of the missing eyes of the woman.
" With scavengers, you never know what you can find, though I have to say that was one of the worst cases I had ever seen," Maine said while sitting near me.
I didn't say anything, continuing to stare at my drink while playing with a bullet from my revolver.
"... Why do you want the Sandevistan?"
" To give to Gloria, she can implant or give it to her son, but at least they won't be as defenceless as they are without any implant."
" That's a good reason, I will message Gloria to keep it and do whatever she wants with it."
" You made a good choice, and about the Cyberpsycho part?"
"... I have to think about it, I recognize that what you are saying is the truth, but if I am not here who will guide this group of crazy Gonks?" He said while laughing at his joke.
" I could do it until you recuperate at least, I don't mind it."
" You would? You have been going Solo till now what made you change your mind."
A flash of how everyone died went through my mind.
" Just out of compassion," I said while looking at him for the first time during this conversation.
" Fuck off."
Silence fell once again, at least until Rebecca arrived holding her shotgun and showing new cool tricks she had learn, which almost lead to my balls getting blown off.
