The next day, Scarlet made the call to visit Dorothy but was advised that it would be best that Dorothy visit her. Dorothy wanted to avoid the noise of her son or Beth questioning her for why she was allowing Scarlet around her. 

"Welcome," Scarlet greeted Dorothy with a hug. She would not understand how Jack turned out as he did when he had such a wonderful mother. Dorothy needed to hit him across the head a bit more. It had always been funny when Dorothy punished him. 

"Don't tell my son that you're still my beloved daughter-in-law. Not the one he is trying to force me to accept. I thought you would have never let me step foot back in here," Dorothy said, enjoying the warm hug from Scarlet.

Dorothy had no ill feelings when it came to Scarlet. She was the one who needed to apologise to Scarlet for her stupid son. Dorothy was ecstatic when she received the call from Scarlet. She wanted to reach out to Scarlet but didn't know how to start it.
