Chapter 27: Chapter 27

Jessica's exclamation about Arthur being a king surprised Garp. He hadn't expected this young man to hold such a title.

"Wait, you're a king? And you're considering joining the Marines along with the old man? As for whom you're searching for, you haven't disclosed that yet," Garp remarked, clearly taken aback by the revelation of Arthur's royal status.

"I'm searching for someone important," Arthur replied cryptically, diverting the conversation to avoid arousing further suspicion from Garp.

Noticing Arthur's reluctance to share more details, Garp dropped the subject and shifted to another topic. "What's the deal with your ship? It's moving without sails."

"This ship uses a special product from the sky island called Fengbei, which harnesses the wind from Fengbei shells," Arthur explained.

Garp's interest was piqued. He was familiar with the unique shellfish from Sky Island that Arthur mentioned. Suddenly, an idea struck Garp: what if warships utilized these wind shells? This could be a game-changer.

Eager to explore this idea further, Garp inquired about the potential of using wind shells for warships. However, Arthur quickly dispelled the notion. He explained that Sky Islands were formed by unique materials and clouds combined with seastone, and the shells were found around the island's clouds, making them rare and challenging to obtain in large quantities.

Moreover, using a wind shell large enough to propel a warship would require a significant find, as these shells were scarce even in the sky island's vicinity.

In Arthur's vision for the future, the wind shells from Sky Island would be utilized extensively, benefiting the island's inhabitants in various aspects like livelihood, military endeavors, and other needs. However, he realized that relying solely on the empty island's resources might not suffice, let alone selling them.

After a few more conversations, Garp's interest waned, prompting him to depart on his boat.

Arthur felt relieved once Garp left. Garp's inquisitive nature kept Arthur on edge, never knowing what questions or plans the veteran Marine might have next.

Arriving in Loguetown and procuring some items, Jessica was dissatisfied with two rather ordinary knives. They paled in comparison to the superior craftsmanship she was accustomed to back in East.

Thus, without any particular reason to leave, Jessica continued to accompany Arthur as they roamed the East East Sea for a year.

On a small desert island, a fierce battle unfolded between two individuals—a handsome man and a beautiful woman. One wielded dual knives while the other wielded a pair of three-pronged knives.

Both combatants' weapons were shrouded in black Armament Haki. However, it was evident that the woman's Haki was weaker, and the man seemed to effortlessly dominate the fight.

These two fighters were none other than Arthur and Jessica, who had journeyed around the East East Sea for a year. By this time, Arthur had developed a strong Armament Haki, capable of covering his arms completely but stopping short at his shoulders. On the other hand, Jessica's Haki was still developing, only managing to cover a portion of her wrists along with her two knives.

After their prolonged play, Jessica finally reached her limit, her Haki consuming too much of her energy. In contrast, Arthur, with his superior physical strength and endurance, remained calm and relaxed.

"Come on! You're too much! I don't even know how to break free from you!" Jessica pouted, giving Arthur a playful yet cute look.

Arthur chuckled helplessly. "I told you not to tease. You can't even keep up with one move, alright?"

" Jessica huffed proudly, then coquettishly added, "I want some iced juice!"

"Alright, alright! I'll get it for you!" Arthur wiped the sweat from Jessica's face affectionately, then vanished like a bolt of lightning and reappeared with double the amount of iced juice.

"Here you go!" Arthur handed the cup to Jessica, who sipped it gracefully, feeling instantly refreshed.

"Hey!" Jessica finished her drink and then draped herself over Arthur's back, sighing, "I'm so tired. Carry me back, will you?"

"Sure thing!" Arthur agreed, relishing the softness of Jessica's embrace. Although he felt a stir of excitement, he refrained, opting instead for a tender gesture.

A year later, it was evident that Arthur had welcomed another innocent and charming addition into his circle.

Sensing Arthur's anticipation, Jessica's cheeks flushed slightly. She playfully nibbled on Arthur's earlobe and whispered, "Tonight... let's behave. No mischief. You sleep outside!"

It seems like Jessica is grappling with her feelings after a recent intimate encounter with Arthur. Despite her initial reluctance, she found herself teasing him for the past few days, unable to resist her desires. However, she's determined to maintain control today.

"Alright, no problem! As long as you can handle it!" Arthur teased back, sensing Jessica's growing warmth behind him.

" Jessica playfully punched Arthur's head, hinting that he wouldn't be sleeping outside that night.

A few days later, at the edge of the East East Sea, their boat approached the Calm Belt. Arthur's keen eyes spotted several black spots floating in the air within the Calm Belt, nearly two hundred kilometers away.

Among these spots were numerous auras—humans, animals, and formidable individuals.

"I've found them!" Arthur exclaimed, recognizing the presence of the individuals they were seeking.
