/ Fantasy / The Respawner
Synopsis
A man left with nothing claws his way through the very bottom of society. One day, he makes a chilling discovery: even death has abandoned him.
Aldric somehow defies the inevitable, experiencing each demise as a cruel reenactment of his failures. But now, with the power to alter the past, he gains the ability to author a future worthy of a power hungry destitute like himself.
Armed with a soul-hungry blade and the ability to cheat fate, he enters the Expanse—a realm where countless worlds collide, and men and gods struggle for dominion.
[ The universe will continue on, again, and again, and again. And still, you will remain. Expelled from the principles of causality, yet, a silent orchestrator of it. ]
[You are the Firsts' Great and Terrible Blade, and reality itself will crack at the weight of your failures.]

Author The_Forgotten_
Hi, Author here. I'm usually not the type to rate my own book five stars, but I thought this one would need me to say some things before some of you begin reading. The story: Simply put, it's about a weak Awakened becoming much more after being given the power to return to the past. He navigates not just the greed of his world, but also the war and politics of the Expanse, a realm where people from multiple worlds tread, all with a shared goal—to clear the trials of the reaches. The MC: Voss is a cunning, deceptive manipulator who puts himself first in all situations. He grew up as an orphan, with no one to care for him or for him to care for. As a result, he hardly trusts or gets too close to people. In fact, more often than not, a person's life means less to him than a hunch of meat that will appease his hunger another day. So yeah, he's not exactly a good person, but he's got a great sense of humor, and his attitude keeps him alive and on top of things. He's also overpowered to an extent, but not boringly so. Respawning: This honestly has to be the most complex ability I've created (I've written six books). Although it seems like a simple concept, it's really not if you want to make it work. The workings of it, along with how the story is written, are all carefully done to make sure it's not just a repetitive, redundant mess—so no, it won't be chapters upon chapters of MC reliving the past. So that's it, folks. You can ask any other questions below, and I hope you check the book out.
