Walking through the streets of Kouh Town, Daniel was looking around as if searching for something.
He was wearing his usual black long sleeved t-shirt with grey pants and black shoes.
The sleeves of the t-shirt were pulled up until the middle between his elbow and wrist.
Currently, he is walking toward where the protagonist of this world usually plays.
With his senses that covered the whole town he found him in seconds. He was playing in a park along with some kids.
'So like usual playing with Irina that he thought of as a boy. I'm really impressed by how he couldn't know her true gender, sigh.' Daniel thought while walking.
Issei, the protagonist, in the original was a rather dense and clueless character. Just because he was tricked by a girl on his first date he thought that all girls were tricking him with their advances, especially those in the ORC club. They gave him so many hints over the four seasons, but he couldn't grab it.
Although finally he realized Rias's true feelings for him, but he still didn't call her by her name until the last season after his fight with Sairaorg Bael.
This was one of the things that made the readers frustrated or else you wouldn't find so many fanfics about DXD world either mocking the protagonist or making him a better human.
But not here tho.
Besides, his pervertedness was so high that he even didn't hide it. Peeking on girls changing their clothes or taking a bath and the like. I even thought that there was something happened to him in his childhood made him become like that, although I doubt it.
It's in his genes, and the proof was his mother herself.
Although she may appear like a good and caring lady on the surface but inside she was a huge pervert.
Anyway, enough talking about this and let's go and find what we were coming for.
Soon enough Daniel arrived at the park where Issei was playing along with Irina and some annoyi—Ahem, kids.
Looking at how the kids were playing and laughing made the atmosphere merry and filled with happiness.
Daniel walked in the park and decided to sit on the bench for some time while looking at the kids playing. Just with him sitting there attracted attention already because of his looks and jet black hair that was darker than anything you could imagine. He only did this because he wanted to wait until the kids finish playing before approaching the protagonist because he didn't want the kids to be afraid of him of think of his as a kidnapper.
The kids were quite afraid and reluctant to approach him because of the air around him that seemed cold and devoid.
But maybe because of stupidity or foolishness, Issei, the protagonist approached Daniel himself with Irina walking behind him.
"You seem new here Onii-chan." He said with a cheerful smile on his face while Irina was looking at Daniel curiously.
"Yeah, I'm a new resident in this town,"
"Ohhh, that is amazing, tell me tell me about where you came from." Issei excitedly.
"I came from a foreign country far from here." Daniel replied calmly.
"Can you tell me about it?"
"Sure..." Then he began telling Issei some things about his home country in the previous world.
The little protagonist was smiling excitedly while listening to what Daniel was saying while Irina was listening as well with sparkling eyes. After all they were kids.
And before long, time passed quickly and was time to go back to home. Daniel patted Issei's head and secretly his hand glowed for a second along with his eyes but no one noticed except the little Irina as she was looking at Daniel the whole time.
She became mesmerized once she saw the sudden change in color that gave Daniel a kind of majestic aura.
After that, he bid farewell to the two kids and walked back home. Daniel knew that Irina saw the change in his eyes, but that doesn't matter if she saw or not.
After all, he wanted at least someone from heaven even if not Michael to come so he could plant his shadows.
He knew that once he did this, Michael wouldn't come himself and would just send one of the Seraphs. He doubted that he would send Gabriel, the strongest woman in heaven. After all, in the original, she was an airhead and naive which made him afraid that she could be fooled by someone.
Michael existence is so important for Heaven and can't leave his position to look for someone who messed with one of the sacred gears connected to the system.
Anyway, Daniel arrived at home and went straight to to training yard at the back of the mansion.
Both Shuri and Akeno were resting in their bedrooms as today was a day off, so they wanted to rest as much as possible.
Now, standing in the middle of the training ground, Daniel opened the palm of his right hand and on it appeared a flaming red ball that was shining brightly. This ball was the soul of Ddrig that he took from Issei when he patted his head.
Once he took the Sacred Gear from him, he put it inside his Shadow Dimension where the soul was separated from the gear. It was a rather an easy process for someone like him who could manipulate the souls freely.
Now the gear was just a normal Legendary grade gauntlet. Which was something that anyone wish for, but to Daniel, it was of no use so he kept it there hoping that one day, he could find someone worthy of using it.
After all, even without Ddrig inside it, the gauntlet itself will develop a consciousness in the end. Legendary grades aren't just your normal thing.
It was created by the bestest blacksmith of all times and history, the God of Creation—Heavenly Father.
Looking at Ddrig's soul that was still sleeping, Daniel could see a trail of darkness coming out of it.
It was because the soul was in the presence of the Shadow Monarch, the Ruler of Darkness and Death itself.
And Ddrig being a soul without a physical body, was in the perfect state to be one of the Shadows of the Shadow Monarch.
He should be honored.
So with things being ready, the soul of Ddrig in his hand floated high in front of him.
Then with glowing purple eyes and purple outlines around his body, the air became cold and with a deep voice...
"ARISE!"
FOWWWWSH!!
A surge of dark purple power erupted from the soul engulfing it.
The power expanded high in the sky casting a huge pressure that could cause an uproar in all three realms if not for the barrier around the training yard.
But secretly, Daniel let a strand of it escape the barrier before closing it again.
A figure of a 500 meters dragon materialized in front of Daniel. The barrier did its job and hid him or else he would be found.
The Dragon was so powerful and exuded a very majestic aura that could make anyone want to kneel and respect it.
Ddrig was bigger than any other dragon in the army of the Shadow Monarch, and if not for how huge the training yard was, his size would destroy it and everything around.
The outlines and the dark violet hues that were like a beating heart on his body along with a breath of a dark purple fire.
Damn, it was so majestic and terrifying.
'His power is only under Bellion with a slight margin and if grew stronger, he would outmatch him. Not like Bellion would let him do that.' Daniel thought while looking at Ddrig majestic sight.
If he was let out in the world, just his breath would burn everything turning it to ashes.
After all, his fire became more destructive that before when he was alive.
'I wonder what will Albion's reaction be when he see that?'
Then, slowly, Ddrig knelt in front of Daniel in a rather splendour sight.
"This servant greet the King." He said with a deep rough voice.
Daniel put his right hand on his snout and his eyes glowed even brightly, as everytime one of his shadows kneel before him, he feel a strong feeling of majesty and grandeur.
Now, what name should he give to him. Is it the old one or a rather new one?
Bewilderment.
