/ Fantasy / An Automated Aviary
Synopsis
The city of Mithrelle was once a pinnacle of science and prosperity. After the Scouring, a purge of all technology and invention destroyed the city, and all genius was subjugated. Strict control of all creations, whether steam, heat or mechanical was reigned in by the ruling class, and licensed out by the rich and powerful.
Against this tumultuous backdrop, a young, naive horology prodigy is plucked from poverty and obscurity by a terminally ill ruler.
The road to damnation is paved with good intentions.

Write a reviewAn interesting concept with a lot of potential, it's too early to judge however, and you need to split up your paragraphs more. Keep up the good work!
I'm glad the authors standards havnt dropped. Enjoying the story so far, open the author perseveres. Don't want this story to just end at 10chps...
Wow, the picture the author paints is so vivid! Love the word play and imagery in this chapter! Really hope the author can keep up this standard of writing throughout the whole novel!

Okay so now I've reviewed it. It seems like an intriguing novel and the story development is nicely done. Just try to use less commas and the vocab is also fine. The background design is so-so-Overall everything is done in a great manner (Well it isn't my genre but I read it for the review swaps) ;) Good luck DUN FORGET TO REVIEW MY NOVEL!

I'm liking this so far, interesting world building and some great in depth descriptive writing. Too many novel's on here just jump straight to the action but this is actually setting a scene and landscape first. I also like that the protagonist (or antagonist?) isn't immediately "God like", feels like the character might have to struggle and learn to overcome their obstacle's, rather than being gifted all the keys to the universe just for being born. Seems like we might be going on a journey?
