Chapter 1: Funny Death
**CAUTION!!! Dear reader the work has been dropped for now read at your own caution! I am planning another novel by the name of Thirst For Supremacy**
A man with blonde hair stood atop a futuristic skyscraper. His shoulder-length blonde hair danced in the wind as he possessed a carefree expression. He mused to himself as he looked down the tallest skyscraper in the biggest city on Earth.
'Huh, I made it' he thought to himself as he kept enjoying the scenery.
Suddenly a man came rushing behind him.
"Boss! Your son was captured!" said a bald man who wore sunglasses even deep at night.
The boss turned around and looked at the bald man with a knowing smile. "Let it be, he brought it upon himself" he said as he kept looking at the man.
"Boss! What if it gets public?! Your public image will be ruined!" he yelled out.
The boss kept staring at him without even bothering to reply. The man was flabbergasted, to say the least! This person was known to be caring and loving towards his family, yet he didn't even want to be bothered by his only son's life and death situation!
"T-then, should I send assassins to take care of him?! He knows too much!" said the bald man while trying to garner any reaction from this handsome middle-aged man.
"Haha, even if you don't send anyone to remove him, he will be taken care of by one of my competitors anyways, they are just rats who have left no choice but to try to break me mentally" replied the boss with an amused expression on his face.
As if reading the thoughts of the bald man, he continued.
"In truth, he isn't my son and I don't have a family" said boss as his smile kept widening. The bald man was utterly confused! He had done his homework and checked the whole background of the man who hired him to be his bodyguard and right-hand man.
"This plan took me 13 years to realize, initially I didn't know who hired the mole to find my weaknesses but I didn't care, I had a plan!" said boss enthusiastically.
"First, I had to create a fake weakness and give it as much attention as I could. It was pretty easy to do it since i brought a baby from the slums, I spoiled him as much as I could, let him do whatever he wanted and gave him everything! My love! My attention! My care!"
"I took care of every mess he made even covering up a couple of homicides, of course my enemies would naturally find out about it, but would not make a move since they could sabotage me later with greater rewards in place! Sometimes it's nice when someone who targets everything you have is smart!"
"They waited until I reached the highest possible potential before reaping everything from me!"
"I just played along. They also didn't want me to find out the mole since they were rather optimistic about greater heights I could achieve, so they opted to mask it as common thugs ransoming a rich kid with a rich daddy."
"But the mole was found out and interrogated with some really convincing methods. Now all the sensitive information regarding those companies is known. They are all about to be captured and get acquainted with even more convincing methods I have! At the end, I'm going to get control over 5 major corporations of the world" he took his time and explained as a devilish grin appeared on his face.
The bald man couldn't process all this information!
But suddenly his mind clicked as he sprinted towards his boss with killing intent flashing in his eyes. Alas, he could do nothing as after five steps he dropped down...
Dead!
He revealed all this information like a villain explaining his grand scheme! The reason he did it? Because that bald man was a hidden assassin!
Unfortunately or fortunately, he was found out and taken care of before he could even come close to killing him and stealing valuable data.
A dozen meters away from the corpse directly opposite to the boss stood a beautiful woman holding a pistol with a silencer. Although, even without it, powerful winds would still have dispersed the sound waves.
The boss just simply nodded his head and in turn the woman simply bowed and left the rooftop after completing her assigned task.
The boss's gaze silently accompanied her beautiful figure until she left.
Then, he just simply stood there enjoying a slightly strong yet gentle breeze as it almost neared midnight.
After being satisfied with the scenery he headed towards the staircase...
Suddenly!
A powerful gust of wind strode by, shaking his balance, but he paid it no heed as if it was a regular occurrence.
He kept walking towards the exit until...
A terrifying wind current lifted his body!
The wind was so powerful that it brought him ten meters above the rooftop. His eyes shot wide as he finally lost his carefree expression! An expression that he had carried since he remembered himself!
The situation was totally out of his control!
It was the first time he felt so in his entire lifetime!
Even when he was hunted down by an entire mercenary group he managed to escape and later decimate them!
Yet, this situation presented him with true despair which he hadn't experienced in his life!
The wind threw him out off the rooftop and let him plummet towards the ground like a sandbag.
'Huh, I am still a helpless bag of flesh after all, in short, a mortal' those were his last thoughts before he started laughing hysterically like a madman.
Until he hit the ground...
This day marked a date when the most powerful individual on Earth died...
Which in turn initiated WW3!
