My favorite and best novel I read : I Shall Seal The Heavens is the reason why I started read more wuxia and xianxia novel. so if you wondering is this novel worth to read then the answer is YES. Thank you very much for DeathBlade for finishing translated this book and er gen who created this novel. and dont forget Meng Hao, the shameless MC, who bring the uniqueness of this book. ** : I think the publisher should be wuxiaworld right ? why this book released here ?
IT's amazing how people are reviewing this like they have finished the story when this has LITERALLY been copied and pasted from WW. But in all honesty, this is one of the BEST work I have ever read and I must give it 5/5.
Great but wouldn't actually read it here.. Wuxiaworld.com for those of you who wish to suport the translator and their claim to their work. For those who don't give a poop it's a wonderful story with a greedy MC that makes me wish i could find money as easily as this guy. Grows to be powerful while being a conman that doesnt even spare those who can easily kill him with one finger.
Don't get your hopes up. This gem is hollow inside and here is why. I have read it entirely. 500 hundred chapters of awesomeness and then it spiraled into never ending repeating similar sentences, situations, tropes and same mold forgettable useless characters. 1.Romance is extremely badly incorporated into the story. Doesn't help when the main girl is nothing but a bland puppet with no personality used to move the plot. 2. MC goal ends to be with each next arc to get stronger and to create waves, one bigger than the other, his reputation MUST be illustrious. 3.He is the chief of lucky - 7-chosen lottery, everything of benefit comes handily to him just because. 4.Others exist to be impressed and to worship him. 5.Action chapters later are waving sleeves and all powerful snorting and many things that don't make sense. 6.Mc personality explained over and over again as so good and scholarly like, but his actions are in fact the exact 180. 7.Translator gripe- the repeated CAPS monologues are not the least bit shocking or interesting. It was the best story for me up to when he gets at Yuanyung stage. I realised after a few arcs that Author got run out of ideas and the story got noticeably bad. I think it as Overwhelmingly underwhelming story, because close to 1/3 of it was really awesome,even thought it had many problems whixh the story made up for, but overall my hope got crushed and I just read it to pass time, but it's really horrible.

This book is one of the best books I've ever read. The characters are interesting and you end up actually caring about what's goin to happen to them. The world building is great and I personally don't have any problems with the tranlation quality. would definitely recommend you read this as it is a very good book all in all.
This is one of my favourite novels. MC is not reincarnated or doesn't have any OP system. He is hard working and experience life with sorrow, happiness. Side characters are fulfill their roles and no one was abandoned in mid way. Try this novel. U will not be disappointed

This novel is one of my favorite novels, great MC, great story, great humor. ***TRANSLATION STOLEN FROM WUXIAWORLD. DON'T READ HERE. GO TO WUXIAWORLD*** Everytime Qidian tries to censor me, I'm just gonna come back stronger, so fu qidian for trying to censor the truth. I'm pissed that QI would dare dirty this novel with their pathetic schemes and disgusting moves. They stole the translations from WW (as is plenty obvious now lol). I'm insulted and incensed that they would think us readers were stupid enough to believe them saying that they reached an agreement with wuxiaworld. I hope us readers can band together against this bs QI. Keep censoring me QI, I'll be back stronger t(-.-)

The Ninth Generation Demon Sealer, I shall seal the Heavens!“ I Shall Seal the Heavens, otherwise known as Wo Yu Feng Tian, is a Xianxia novel written by Er Gen. The story revolves around Meng Hao, who starts off as a failing scholar and ends up as an omnipotent. In my opinion, this guy is the best main character I’ve seen so far. This comes from his character development and unique personality, which is antithesis to those of typical novels. Absolutely shameless down to his marrows, a bashful killer, and a ruthless con artist, Meng Hao truly exhibits the behaviors people’d expect out of villains. He rips off money from people by hurting them, treating their wounds that he caused, and asking for treatment money. What’s more surprising is that this is all done in the daylight, when people are watching. However, shamelessness (which I thought would last until the end) eventually came to an end after Meng Hao going to tens of thousands of years of life – But, honestly, it’d be weird if he still ripped people off of their money as one of the oldest people in the universe. The process of his change in personality was quite long, but it was quite evident throughout the entire novel. There were many factors that contributed to this change, but I won’t name any of them except one : becoming strong. When Meng Hao was young, he was abandoned and he was a failing scholar, so of course he had to be ruthless and shameless to survive off of the little money he had; but, as he took another route in life and turned to cultivating and gaining power, his mindset slowly began to change. He no longer view people as organisms which he can rip money off from and began to look at them as an old, wise sage would. That’s enough about the MC, now about the plot : The plot in the beginning is very, very vague in the beginning, it’s almost as if this is just about the journey of Meng Hao. But, as various events take places, you’ll begin to notice something strange about what was going on with him little by little, until you reach a certain point when you are suddenly hit with a huge plot twist. (This twist, let me tell you, isn’t one of the cliche ones you’ll see from the typical American novels. Trust me) This story isn’t the typical “weak to strong” type of story, but rather “main character literally defying the heavens.” If you want to start reading light-novels, I’d recommend you start off with this one. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

I don't know why ppl give say this novel very good. In my opinion it just so so, and some parts of it annoying. This novel contains only to describe how incredible the MC (chosen among chosen, crown prince etc, ppl bow to him), MC can't die (he died, but easily revived, body already destroyed until left only eyes but still not die, and when he face certain death, there's always someone there to help him!). Author create too many characters (alot of them didn't even named and even forgotten!), emotion relationship sux (i only like the story at 2nd plane at immortal demon sect which involved ke yunhai, and i really pity toward chu yuyan especially), too many magical items that also forgotten. And how MC bully ppl who weaker than him (i really hate this 1), author makes the joke which is not funny. World back ground is good.

Literally they are making you pay for a story that has been finished since almost 4 years ago and they didn’t even do the translations, just copy and paste.
The madlads... they actually did it... they actually locked this thing!!!!!!!!!!!! I always reread this when I get the kicks cause it is one of the greatest. But they literally copied and pasted it from WW and yet... NOW THEY EARN FROM IT??? Just a day ago, everything's unlocked! Now, it's mostly locked? WTF! Damn... this is absurd...
A very poor ending to a relatively good story builtup. Only consistent activity is spraying/coughing mouthful of blood. Different ****ty looks in eyes like eyes with killing intent, cold eyes, eyes with desire to battle, eyes with aura of death and rot, ancient eyes, eyes with laughter, eyes with terror, horror, fudge... If everything was to be shown by eyes then why to talk. Author would give lot of powers to mc and then forget about them after few chapters so much so that the final battle was a bragging competition. A ****ty romance in which many unparalleled beauties are introduced but the least beautiful who has hardly spoken 10 sentences throughout the novel becomes the heroine. Author started well but then had no clue as what to write. Last book of this novel became a burden. MC is portrayed as righteous person who wipes out existence of someone only because he tried to catch a ball. Total stupid plot and basically an advertisement of authors other novels. Huge thumbs down.
This was a good story until his ''father and mother'' come and help with the rebirth lily. Absolute trash. Like they leave him for idk how long and suddenly oh were your parents we abandoned you when you were 7 and now that you are half spet immortal we have come again. The audacity of those fucks. TLDR:if you want to read this **** do it.
epic. i laughed, i cried, i couldn't put it down. there is a depth here that a lot of newer chinese webnovels don't have. a must-read for anyone interested in the genre.
I have to say one of the best of it's genre no actually it supercedes all others. ISSTH is more about the world and the experiences Meng Hao goes through rather than him reaching the absolute top like so many others do. So, if you are just looking for a story in which a MC becomes brokenly OP you will be disappointed that you are feeling intense emotions instead. All of that being said this is literally just a cheep copy paste of 1610 chapters when there are 1614+3 (not including the blank chapter 1613+3) fully translated... If you are gonna copy paste something are ready finished and over with at least do it right. Everyone else has more or less said the rest about the issue.

I never expected the story could bring forth a lot of emotions within my hearth - i laughed, i cried, i was angry, i was impatient, i was enlightened and so much more. An amazing storyline and character development. To be honest, this story makes me realise - patience and perseverance are the ultimate keys to achieving success. Beautifully done!
Thank god ISSTH completed before this sh***y war between QI and ww , still i am reading novels from both sites, chinese authors are great creators of imaginative world. If QI going to monopolise all the chinese novels and then putting paypal for reading novels, then i have to stop this amazing journey in chinese novels because i cant afford it. But i hope this doesn't happen.....
