Sydney McKee has always been a great singer. Because of her talent, she was noticed by VIP student Matt Duncan, who has just transferred to their school from England. And also, her senior Lenoir Hans fell in love with her voice!
But destiny challenged her when she found out that her throat needs to undergo surgery, and her beautiful voice is in danger.
When Sydney becomes voiceless, how will Matt and Lenoir fight for her affection? And how will Sydney confess her love to the guy she likes the most, despite her illness?

Sydneyโs house was only a few blocks away from the school. While they walked, they talked about what they wanted to sing for the concert.
โI think Iโm going to sing a love song,โ Lenoir told her.

Sydney chuckled, not taking her seniorโs words seriously. โGeez, youโre a sweet talker! I am so not going to fall for that!โ

It's nearly ten in the evening. Olivet had already fallen asleep, while Sydney tossed and turned, 'Great. I can't sleep.'
Losing every hint of sleepiness, she took a flashlight and crawled out of the tent.
To her surprise, she saw Matt just outside, holding two sticks of grilled corn. She asked jokingly, "Why are you here? Are you stalking me?"
He laughed at her, "Yes and no."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"My tent is just beside yours, Sydney," he said pointing at it.
"Then why are you right in front of ours?" she raised her eyebrow.
"I didn't hear you snoring, so I thought you might be awake," Matt said with a grin, obviously teasing her.
"Hey, I don't snore!!!!! Why you-"
Her violent reaction got cut off when Matt placed the grilled corn on her mouth!
"You'll wake everyone. Keep quiet and eat with me," he said, then winked at her.

I'm really enjoy the storyline so far! The characters in this book have their own defined and interesting quirks and personalities, which had me giggling on countless occasions. There are also strong relationships quickly shown between the characters which was done well. Great book, Author~

Oh wow... just wow. Iโm not one for romance novels but wow. The characters are pretty set just 10 chapters in; Sydney the straightforward, no bs girl, Matt the spoiled, kinda r*pe-y vibes guy but still cares for her in his own way and Lenoir, the senior who has developed a real crush on Sydney for her voice. The losing her voice really reminds me of โYour Lie in Aprilโ where the main character literally loses what they love the most. Despite it not showing too much interaction past that point, I can tell there is real potential with the story. Keep it up! Fighting!
I just read the synopsis and the first few chapters. I found this story very interesting. I couldn't stop myself from giving five stars. I look forward to know what happens next to the main character.
i don't usually go for the romantic genre but this is such a fun read. It so far is very interesting and I will be adding it to my reading list! good job author!
