anyone know what chapter in raw this guy finally enter in sect of House wan Jian? -.- I read like up to 200+ in raw and still could not find it. It is very boring because translation is super slow despite having 2900 Chapter. if 1 chapter a day. You will die before you complete the series. 1 year - 360 days. So u can only get 360 chapter in 1 year or LESS. I say Less. maybe 300 chapter in 1 year. So it will take 10 Years for translator to catch up to 2900 Chapter. I dont know if i can make it ill be 62 in 10 years.

Typical Generic Xianxia At first, seem fun but eventually you all gradually boring with this story If you just want to spend your time than this is for you
The character development of this book is mediocre at best. Although the plot is interesting, the main character's design is undermining the potential of this novel.
I've read so many novels till now of this tipe,the MC looks forced writen and the same with the dialogs...so 4 stars is the maxim i can give,i don't know chinese to know if its the writer or the translator...
What happened to the novel. Why it stopped updating. It was good to read now suddenly it stopped. The character and story development was pretty great.
The story is good and i like how the prince is arrogant but you should make it so stronger peoplefight him and one defeat him so he have a motive in life.

It started out to be a story with good potential. The MC is going through the "weak to strong" route and there were lots of fights worth reading. The translation is okay as well. However, the issue lies with the story itself, by how it was written by the author. By the time it hit the arc where he was teleported elsewhere (not sure, about Ch200+ maybe (Volume 5) I realized that the wash, rinse, repeat in this story is so heavy and the "praise be the MC" reaction chapters so sickening that the plot had hardly advanced. Everything is about the crowd's reaction and disgust-turned-shame-and-respect. The side characters have flat personalities. There's a limit to how much an author can milk a story to stretch out the word count, and me? I've long reached my limit with this story. Sorry to say this, but after reaching till here, I felt like reading this story made me dumber. There's no advancement in the writing style even after so many chapters. My head is literally aching right now. I gave the story several chances to redeem itself. But sadly, I can no longer tolerate it. I have to drop this novel, not because of the translation quality but because of the author's writing itself. Ah, such regret because I do think that the mystery of the Painting is interesting and I'm leaving it when it's still unsolved.

i started to regret reading this novel..its fun from the start "building a 9 story padogy only to destroy halfway" what a fucking heartless MC..how many girls the author need to break until hes satified whith his ego?lol... u can just type "im gay,NO girls for me"... you dont need to explain how he mince a girls hurt to pieces..NO shet man..... its getting boring... by the d way nice translating give you 5 star...for the story i can only give 1 star lol
D*mn i don know the fault lies in author or translator. But its very confusing. Between first realm and eight realm which one is stronger or qhich path need to take? In there some of it first realm are strongest but that ling xian eight realm are stronger than seven realm. Its straight confusing cause the translator not even try help differentiate the cultivation path and the stage. Its actually cause the "unkown" path and stage that makes this novel poor and again the translator not even attemt to help
The story getting boring he is having a dream and everything in it becomes real what bull**** plot.the author is simply wasting a good plot.if story continue to this this will only waste good plot for novel

It's disappointing that the author is stretching the story with useless lines inbetween. A novel should be interesting when story is told in a flow, but in every chapter I can see that author is adding lines just to lengthen the chapters. It's not fun reading like this. Might quit reading if this continues likes this.
Honestly I don't know why I'm still reading this novel. It's frustrating. It's definitely a generic novel that you can find anywhere. A handsome MC that has no talent but manages to turn that around with heaven defying luck. What's frustrating is the MC's attitude towards others. He's always being so generous and giving favors away to people that he barely knows or has absolutely no connection to. Seriously, this idiot gets into fights with powerful enemies all because he can't leave these shameless morons alone? He forces himself into a lot of situations where the conflict could easily be avoided if he just ignored it. And why does he keep blushing when it comes to girls? He's able to slaughter left and right but when it comes to a little teasing he turns into a shy boy? Bah! Whether it's beautiful girls that are in trouble or shameless geezers and young masters trying to curry favor with him, I wish the MC would just grow a pair of... err a backbone... yeah, a backbone, and turn everyone away so he can focus on his cultivation and goals rather than getting sidetracked.
The most annoying mc I have ever seen. It was all fine at beginning when you come across his heaven defying talent but I think the choices he makes are really bad even after he had a century worth of life experience. This annoys me to no end.

This is the first time i will be reviewing a novel. I may not be the best but i will offer my most accurate opinions as best as i can. A Painting of the Nine Immortals, straight into just entering the novel, you have a maincharacter have everything he would need drop in front of him to easily grab. Op abilitys, amazing talent. It all happens 5 chapters in to the novel. As you progress on you just see more luck and "fate" coming into our maincharacters life. This kind of story has its pros and cons and i will try to emphasize A Painting of the Nine Immortals pros and cons. Pros of this type of setting. If the author is not your generic trash and can think up of a creative setting, in depth characters, it can become a interesting read. Cons If the author is your average generic type of trash who just repeats himself with the same fighting style, same setting(Friends/clan of mc about to be defeated, last moment mc pops up and saves everyone) or just pure repitition of events throughout the novel(hero saves beuty wins her heart). Then the novel can end up average or complete garbage. Since i have read only 88 chapters so far. I can only offer a slight opinion on this. Reading up to chapter 88 this novel already contains a hectic amount of problems, with which i have fought to read on with. Translation Quality- Confusing, clusterred and erratic. First off i know the author tried to make a "unique" cultivation system as such as instead of starting of at realm 1 you actually start at realm 10 in alchemy, cultivation and beast ranks, but as time goes on it just gets really confusing especially when ranks go 1-9(10) being a rank only geniuses can reach. 1. While reading the translator uses the word Realm in the place of Rank when it is supposed to be the opposite. Or switching between the terms qi, mana, and reiki constantly, which makes me confused and frustrated at the quality of the translation. 2. Not sure if someone is proof reading these chapters before posting them because while reading i find that lots of words are missing/out of place throughout the novel. Which has not improved from chapter 1-88 so far. Updating Stability- Can only be considered "fair". Story delelopment- The story so far in my opinion is going a a good pace. As of now going from Rank 1 of the Qi Realm to Rank 10 of the qi Realm, has took 88 chapters. In my opinion these beggining ranks should never drag on for a long time unless the author is skilled in keeping the reader from losing interest. Character Design- One word i can use to describe our main character and side characters so far. Shallow. Reading up to chapter 88 you find out that the mc is simply average, determined, youth aiming to become a top cultivator. Nothing complex just pure ******. Our side characters can be considered ****** as well. Chapter 5 or 6(i dont remember the exact chapter) Our mc saves a beauty. Yes i praise the mc for trying not to get envolved with the conflict until hes forcefully dragged into it even when seeing her beauty, but once the mc saves her, she falls in love with him. Just like that. One girl is already head over heals for our mc. This does not happens just once. It happens quite a few times. Enemys? They are just one dimensional arrogant pricks so far, so nothing special. World Background- Shallow very Shallow. Our Mc resides in a small city in the Qin Dynasty. Once our mc unlocked his potential and became Op, apparently he became a talent rarely seen in thousands of years throughout the world. No explanation on how big the mcs world is, no apparent size of the Qin Dynasty as well. So we have no clue on how big the world is as well as how much talent our mc trully has. My own Opinion- Now aside from the technical side of things as i like to call it.(World Background, Translation quality etc. I would like to give ky emotinal view of this book as well. In my own true straight forward opinion. This book is just "average". The mcs personality suits my own tastes as well as the setting the author gave. But reading this i just feel like this book is to just kill time. It can barely keep my interests alive. I hope this review would be somewhat helpful to future considering readers.
