Synopsis
On just another normal Monday, a new virtual reality game called "Evolution Online" launched out of nowhere and took the world by storm.
People were blown away by the game’s hyper-realistic features and endless adventures. Everyone from small companies to big corporations and governments scrambled to get a foothold on this mysterious video game.
But what they didn't know was that this game was actually a tutorial for the upcoming apocalypse that was about to hit the planet! The game was a precursor to the Earth's first evolution, where mana was going to be unleashed into the real world!
Liam, a high school student who had faced numerous setbacks in his life, turned to 'Evolution Online' in the hope of changing his fate, but instead, he got trapped in the game's twisted world, and things went from bad to worse.
When the apocalypse finally arrived, Liam barely managed to escape, but his situation didn't improve. Along with millions of others, he died a miserable death, unable to fight back and filled with regret.
However, Liam's story didn't end there. He found himself inexplicably transported back in time before everything started!
Armed with the knowledge of what was to come, Liam was determined to become the strongest and most powerful player, unleashing destruction upon the world that had ruined him before! This time, things were going to be different!

Honestly the best VR novel I have read, and I have read a lot of these. Some key things I’d like to point at that are done well. -The MC uses the knowledge from his reincarnation logically One of the big things that grates on me in other reincarnation novels is the MC not capitalizing on knowing the future markets to make money since it just isn’t logical. This novel on the other hand does a great job. Another great point is how power scaling is done in this novel. Typically novels in this genre will have the MC gaining insane advantages but still having trouble and barley scraping by against a bunch of players. Authors do things like stalling the characters growth or making endless enemies at slightly lower levels, however in this novel the MC faces logical challenges and setbacks. There are no cliche one dimensional characters that just serve to further the word count. The author does a great job making the challenges logical, higher level NPCs, people searching for his location, and a very intricate plot. Probably the best thing about this novel however is the lack of plot holes. I don’t know how the author does it but with a constantly entertaining plot and nothing contradicting 10/10. I will complain however :( the chapters are too short. I’m currently all caught up with privlage chapters at 221 but waiting a week for ~13 chapters and then finishing them in a bit over an hour makes me sad. If you read this review please add a few hundred more words per chapter :) :) :) or maybe even double the length lol :) :)
I can't believe I haven't given this story a review yet! I know I am a moderator, so some people may call me biased. This story is an excellent read, and I would suggest it to anyone. The MC is perfect. The story is perfect. The other characters are perfect(Yes, even Alex). The novel is so extraordinary that I feel like I'm there, and the events and characters are real.
A good read, I have enjoyed every chapter and always look forward to more, the only thing to complain about is the lack of chapters, give me more lol.
If you love trash novels, this is like dumpster diving outside of the 4 Seasons Hotel during an international business conference. In other words, this trash is higher quality than most quality works. Just pay attention to the underlying overtone, instead of the characters strength, and you'll quickly discover that for yourself
Love the story so far. I am looking forward to how it develops and based on how things have been set up so far it should be extremely enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and give this story a shot, I am expecting it to turn into a very popular story!
This review is after climbing to the most recent updated chapters around 260+. I'm loving a lot of the ideas presented in this novel. I started reading this novel because it was expressed that the things in the game change how you are in the real world. Now after reading 260+ chapters nothing, nothing has changed with him or others playing in the real world. I started reading this because of this premise and it seems like I have been let down because almost every chapter they talk about the upcoming apocalypse and people using their powers out of game, but they always talk about it in the future tense. Like honestly I don't know how much longer I can continue reading without something of note changing because otherwise this is just another regression vrmmo and I have read too many already. Author If you read this could you shed some light on this issue?
I have been hooked since I picked this up and read all 97 current available chapters today. So far the world building and mystery has been superb and there have been hints of undercurrents in this world. This is not your normal mmo game. The characters aren't flat and have nuance as well. This is a banger you should read.
this is the first novel in which the author and a woman I feel like reading. The mc so far is a great character, he should just train his sister's body too to help her have a good body when she starts playing, I know he's afraid she'll get hurt when the world changes but home training would help her to have a more forward base
At first, I was like here we go... another story of someone reincarnating and going into a VR game and taking advantage. However, I must say that I am hooked. Good writing that is easy to follow what's going on. While we do have an arrogant MC, it makes sense in the story. While he does have great fortune early on, it's not like he is completely OP. It is a good read to add to the library.
Love the story. Most VR webnovels have too many numbers and fights that last forever. This novel doesn't do that. The fights are not too long or too short and the fights don't use numbers very often to show damage. The characters are well designed and fun to follow. Highly recommend the story.

One of the best novels I've read in the recent times. I've read way too many novels to count, probably in between 300-400 and nowadays I'm dropping novels have ways because all the stories seem somewhat familiar to what I've read somewhere. This novel also uses concepts familiar from some of the novels here in Webnovel but what keeps me keep reading it is the authors way of keeping his readers engaging with his way of writing. The world background is also good enough but the only aspect I think the author can focus a bit more are the side characters in his story. The MC's character is well established but some of the other characters he interacts with like Mia, Alex and the guy that's working for him in the tower (don't remember his name). Such characters have a lot of potential and could be developed more so that the readers can empathize with the characters more. Lastly the update stability is really good, from what I noticed the author releases atleast two chapters a day. Overall it's a very good novel.

I like the story so far, but I seriously hope to god it doesn’t become another Necromancer story. Sadly it feels overdone, and i hope it goes in a different direction. Still would read nonetheless, but it would be a lot less interesting.
If you like novels with a lot of action and a well-developed plot, I recommend it. It is pleasant to read. I was surprised how well it is written. I would highly recommend
So far the story development has been great... Hope more chapters are released fast so that we don't end up losing interest since it feels like we are still far away from the main plotline
Good world building and story development, mc is not a Simp and he possess a functional brain luckily to us readers. Mc personality is ruthless, efficient and cold so you don't need to hold your head in frustration because he gives treasures to enemies, random girls or doing stupid things like normal protagonists. Read it, you don't going to waste time.

This book is Written extremely well, I’ve read all 67 released chapters so far and have yet to find any grammatical errors. They story and characters introduced so far, are well thought out. The MC is Cold and ruthless and I just can’t wait for new chapters. World building is is superb, very hard to find a flaw in this story, definitely not a book you will have to worry about plot holes popping up or the MC only surviving because plot armor. Overall a very well written book that definitely deserves a 5* rating. If the stories, description interested you enough to look at reviews before reading the story. Look no further this story is amazing and definitely worth a read.
