This just got weird. I kind of get the necessity as Lucas is already on a path where he is beyond the average wizard causing him problems, but what's with this time travel drama?

They are kids. Even if they are cunning, they are likely dumb enough to believe it or be smart enough to realize he was framed, but still be mad as it means someone was targeting them. Either way, it would likely spread before the night is over.

If magical oaths are a thing, swear one right away saying he didn't do it. MC is facing so much prejudice for his name alone and we all know that the Wizarding World is so dumb that they will believe any rumor they hear. After all, we remember that Harry is constantly being turned on by the public perception until unrefutable evidence proves he was right or innocent.

To be fair, it isn't that bad in this instance. They are just magic users from different cultures. It doesn't seem to be actual cultivation.

It is so nice for the Death Eaters to get Harry some new lab rats. These vampires should be very useful for his study of blood magic and immortality.

I'm not against a bit of ruthlessness or revenge, but this isn't the time or place for that. What is Harry going to do? As the heir, he can't kick them out of the family. If the news catches wind of what they did, it looks bad on his family name as a whole rather than just Lily and James. He is not in a position to do damage control as he is only the Heir and not the Lord. As for getting revenge through his power, he is not powerful enough personally, socially, or politically, to do harm to them and get out Scott free. As for Harry being mature, I meant a few things. The main thing is that Harry not being overly emotional does WAY more emotional damage as it shows that he doesn't view them as important enough to get angry over. Next, it is easier to rationalize a person screaming at you as being emotional and making rash decisions they will regret, as opposed to someone calmly and rationally telling you that you failed as a parent. Finally, Harry shouldn't give them the emotional bandwidth as they truly aren't important for his life going forward. He has much bigger problems to worry about such as Dumbledore and Voldemort. He should focus on getting stronger and living his own life.

I attribute him being polite to three factors: reincarnation, occlumency, and reputation. Reincarnation: He is more mature than his age as he has far more life experience, meaning he knows how to handle himself. Occlumency: He has far more control over his mental and emotional state. Reputation: He doesn't want to make a scene and give people interest or the opportunity to find out why they are estranged as it will reflect on the Potter family, to which he is the heir and isn't in a position to do damage control.

The Potter are actually spoiled then. I had hope when we saw Harry was capable of being empathetic to Ethan's plight of being targeted by the media for things beyond his control.

Don't be too hard on them. Considering that DxD and most of the fanfics portray devils as not being evil, but rather misunderstood because of their origins, it might be a little hard for some to reconcile Ajuka and the other Satans being somewhat evil. They need to get over it if they plan to continue reading, but this level of callousness does kind of come out of left field if you aren't expecting it.

This was probably the best this meeting could have been.
