Air conditioning is purely for cooling the air, I am an HVAC technician. Heat uses a furnace or air handler or a heat pump in order to heat the air, it’s part of HVAC but it is not air conditioning. The way air conditioning works is by blowing air across the evaporator coil which is cooled to a very low temp internally with refrigerant, water will condensated on the evaporator coil and be drained through the pvc drain lines attached to the unit which is how it has dehumidifying aspects while cooling the air. Heat pumps are the closest thing to being air conditioning since it also uses refrigeran,t just in reverse to the cycle of air conditioning, but it’s not quite the same thing
The house was chilly and they were unable to afford the air conditioning to heat up the room. As such, a blanket was always required when they were watching the television on the couch due to the extreme cold. Between the both of them, they were not very particular about each other and hence, it was not weird that Lu Shu was using the blanket that she had just left her body warmth on.
