bro he never despised nor cared for naruto... he never interacted with naruto. if anyone but naruto had stolen the scroll they would have gotten death... and if not at the very least a long term visit to tni. its the scroll noting the foundation of konohas ninjutsu might. if anything choza is very nice to naruto for only agreeing to execution... imagine if a delinquint stole the nuke lauch codes.... whatever hes suffered or whoever he is is insignificant to the crime of trying to destroy the nation.

Although Kirito doesn't particularly like Orochimaru, he has to admit that Orochimaru is a very skilled teacher. Not only is he knowledgeable in powerful ninjutsu, but he also knows how to teach according to each student's aptitude.

cause everyone in the staff new it was quirrels troll... it was believed that he was so incompetent that his troll got away from him after injuring him... hence the fainting and the panic... ofc the students didnt know that the troll was meant to be in te castle so they wondered how it got there. however to the staff its presence wasnt a mystery or a problem only its ability to roam freely was....
Given that the troll was part of Quirrell's setup, other professors might have been able to connect the dots as well. It makes one wonder why Quirrell wasn't caught or punished earlier in the canon.
