mc overthings everything that we read more that is in his head then doing something and it's to much of realism that it makes so painful to read .

too much realistic is also a problem. The problem with other are they can't keep mc grounded. And godfall isn't op magic it's limited very so you don't need to worry about it that mc destroy half of world.

no you forget that most of that he need to build and train will need time and building new technology will probobly take atleast 10+ years to become dominant country in world or more. And Godfall magic also would be needing time like 15+ years to train in sword fighting and blacksmiting to . And best part is you can limit his power don't need to have op. And let not forget he would need to do politics because he will need inport and export .

Let me tell you . You too much consintrated on mc devolepment that is killing your novel. Because it becoming a chore to read and you mull the same thought over and over again. We readers don't need lile 30+ chapter with character development and training arcs to it's boring. We better take simple mc then overcomplicated one. So you wasting your time but that is my thought. But here is vetter idea why not make Games of thrones with Frostpunk technology and Godfall magic this one would be 10x better
