The fun parts with farming, making new businesses, and other stuff like medicine was soon set aside for politics and power. This novel mainly focused on torturing the MC and her family, making as much drama as possible. Even in the ending after they wrapped up things, there is no satisfaction from overcoming the suffering due to loose ends. It was basically broken friendships, dead family members and friends, not even details about the family's future. I regretted finishing the novel.
