As for himself, he had no plans to remarry. He would devote his entire life to raising his daughter, hoping she would be able to get an education at a university. Tang Zhinian was berated to the point where he could only stand there, looking like a wronged little girl. As he wiped the sweat off his head, he realized it wasn't easy to endure such scolding. His eyes started wandering aimlessly.

I knew she had some kind of scandal
This woman, the mother of Sang Zhilan, did indeed look down on Tang Zhinian. He had no parents and only a few acres of land. If her daughter hadn't been rejected in marriage, how could she possibly marry her off to an unsuccessful man like Tang Zhinian, who had no abilities at all?

That makes me question is the kid his. Why would a woman from a government job come out in the boons to marry a farmer? she had to have some kind of scandal in the city

"Indeed," another nurse kept her voice low. "Between us, don't spread this around, but Dr. Tang has divorced. Her husband had an affair with her younger sister, and was caught in the act by Dr. Tang. She has been cuckolded and now she's like a matcha."

I'm replying about a comment I made in a previous chapter where I thought the author was measuring by 1 to a 100 scale but others are saying they were measuring by the IQ scale. and if you go down further chapters you can see that the author changes the skill format to something else. I think it's intelligent score or something. I'm just saying that if he was a 78 in the IQ score then he would be somewhat mentally impaired and that score wouldn't work out for somebody who has own five restaurants and can think on the top of their head to solve problems.
During their conversation, he was in fact leading most of the time, talking within his comfort zone, which made him appear knowledgeable and well-informed.

Yang Hao carried Xixi in his arms, quickly passing by the snack cart, and then stuffed her into the back seat of the Geely U8.

The snack cart by the road sold deep-fried skewers and teppanyaki squid. Yang Hao, who had been in the catering business for over a decade, knew all the tricks. The oil used by these street vendors for frying skewers was often gutter oil, while the squid they used for teppanyaki was mostly soaked in lye.

this really doesn't make sense for this book cuz obviously through OP's actions he has been making reasonable choices and his thought processes are well put together. You seriously can't be a owner of five restaurants with the IQ that low. That's why I assume they were doing some kind of other measuring scale. Maybe we need more story development to understand what's happening.
Intelligence Quotient: 78

Zhou Ling said in a low voice, making snide remarks. She was the kind of person who would be swayed easily, speaking ill of Sun Xinyi when along with Yu Lili, but also bad-mouthing Yu Lili when with Sun Xinyi. Such people are quite common in reality.
