strory is very good. it's kind of slice of life genre of cultivation novel. there is no powerful villains or any sect great elder or young masters in the whole novel. There are six worlds in the realm. Human world, immortal world, demon world, Wood World( where MC is located ) , and other 2 unknown worlds. the person who gave MC his cultivation techniques is one of the most powerful person in the whole 6 worlds known as qingdi and he will later accept MC as his disciple. deer is MC'S senior sister. there are 3 cultivation realms introduced in the translation. after Xuan core is transcendent realm, the void something realm, then I think is emperor realm which is the realm at which qingdi is at. till I have read the whole novel is about MC cultivating, then going out to explore, make friends, make some breakthrough, comeback, cultivate again, and repeat all those processes again. you can try this at home too. use a short pipe less than a metre long and try to suck water. It will come out. But MC here trying to suck water through a 20m long "pipe". Using mouth to suck water across 20M is impossible so he used a stopper to make it work like a Syringe. By pulling the stopper water will be drawn through the 20m long intestine pipe.

A small coil of grass rope had begun to build up on the ground, so it was probably about time… Just as he was thinking this, the softwood stopper was expelled by lake water gushing out of the pipe!

*cough* *cough* *cough* I think you have some misunderstanding here. I have read the raw and according to what I got from later chapters, the native Desert residents are not HUMANS nor are they natives to desert. They have their own country North to Desert and the people living in the desert are Lesser Jackals (You know like Higher Vampire and Lower Vampire). Those Jackals are Wolf People like Lizard-man and Nagas. So, I have no problem if he kills all of them. But he dint killed them. He sold them as mining slaves. So, from a certain point its better than being dead. As for his intelligence you mentioned. I think he is pretty smart. Please don't rate the novel by reading only 30-40 chapters. Assuming MC was a teenager before transmigrating, plus 15 years in novel world which much have gave him some mental pressure or damage, Lets say he has a mental intelligence of a 25-28 or 30 years old. After living 15 years with a father who doesn't have feeling for him, getting a f**king Desert as a fiefdom, travelling 7 days in desert to reach the Oasis, fighting Jackals and establishing village, after all these if he forgets he has Date Palm Tree in his inventory then I can totally understand. After all even if his mental age is lets say 30 years, he physically is of 15 and i don't think his experience in modern world will help him in war like situation where there are blood and pieces of limbs every where :)
