the French revolution was definitely needed I mean it was what I would say the cornerstone that sparked the creation of our modern world as we know it the problem is is that if you was actually there the French revolution was awful on both sides yes the people were fighting for liberation and freedom which sounds great in practice but after the revolutionaries won they became arguably as bad or worse than the monarch government even The whisper of an accusation that you didn't fully support the revolutionaries you were executed for being a traitor or a spy or monarchist

the biggest problem with the French revolution is they bankrupted themselves helping the America revolutionaries because they wanted to stick it to the British and then they was broke so they had to increase taxes otherwise they would have collapsed in on themselves but they did it in the worst possible way the government was practically broke but the nobility and the royals were still spending money and living extravagantly extorting money to keep up this lifestyle that the government couldn't afford and that caused it to collapse and the beginning of the French revolutions but the problem is life didn't get better when the French revolution happened they still had the same problems they still had taxes that they had to get but it was a sense of oh we're free now LOL yes you're free to hand over your money to the new people in charge but the perception was everything was better people were kinder even though anybody who slightly disagreed with the new government had their head cut off including Robespierre himself so nothing really changed just new people in charge

well yes and no the problem is is that as the world became a little bit more modernized the price of things was increasing because of reasons and thus taxes came with it yes there was some discontent just like they're always is even today but the problem is was that in one or two places the idea of overthrowing the monarchy and empowering the people happened and that idea spread across the world the problem is is after the monarchy was overthrown and the people took charge the people started extorting the people just like in America United States we had a revolution over 2% tax increase on t now we have over a million new taxes every day basically yes monarchies was overthrown for mistreatment or the perceived notion of mistreatment but more along the lines of greed and a wanting of control by certain groups that started revolutions or rebellions some places was legitimately being subjugated to cruelty and unfair treatment but the fact is a lot of those places that got their freedom from the monarchy became significantly worse off after without an outreaching unified government to help them

that depends you can call it feeding the tumor or engaging in more corruption and keeping the government tainted but the wheels of bureaucracy move at a snail's pace and sometimes it takes years or a decades for something to happen or never happen if you could employ blackmail bribery coercion and all of the above and enact real change and get real results then yes it's incredibly useful more or less absolution is great but it's not a perfect society and results matter more than ethics in many ways

delusions of grandeur making nobles like that believe themselves to be more important than they actually are when the nobilities only purpose is to govern as an extension of the central authority that grants the nobility their power going out of your way to make an enemy of your peasants and your serfs is not only counterintuitive to the nobles purpose you are literally making an enemy out of your foundation the people who cook your food make your clothes guard your doors and castles who count your gold run your bath water if you have the absolute love of the people not only can you sleep peacefully at night without fear of a knife but you'll have countless people willing to help you in your time of need and most importantly not help your enemies this guy was a Chinese novel villain bad guy LOL he was designed to be repugnant and irredeemable in reality a guy like this would have been deposed or àssássinated a long time ago
