Actually, water doesn't freeze under pressure. Water is incompressible, so if you have pressure on water that you are trying to freeze, the water won't freeze. If the container isn't strong enough, and you keep lowering the temperature, then the water will literally explode the container, while simultaneously freezing.

Technically not correct. Water expands when it freezes, so while the same volume of water and water-turned-to-ice would have the same MASS, they would not have the same VOLUME. It's why when pipes freeze they tend to burst.
