Girl, did you forget how she has 2 babies? I get she wasn't around for the "breeding bull" fiasco of Drayce and Seren but there is a reason a man in called a breeding bull so Alvera is WAY AWARE especially in the newlywed phase, how active couples are and besides for your enjoyment, clearly Overseer Rayjin is pimping your husband, Drayce, and now Slayer out for playmates. So no, she can't read minds but she has a very active husband so she understands.

Well, that is one way to keep humans away from you especially if Maximus starts giving chase. People are going to join him in running because whatever is scaring him, they don't want no smoke with it.

I know, right? I mentioned that before that Aldric had been bombarding this girl with having her survival instincts triggered and she keeps choosing non-self preservation. First time, understandable but little psycho has been leaving bread crumbs all over the village and forest and she just refuses to acknowledge them.

I'm sorry, what is the point of survival instincts if she is just going to ignore them? Eli/Aldric has been giving her fight or flight signals since meeting him. Probably should listen to those.

I would say go for it but seeing Isis would use that opportunity to take that throne, unfortunately he needs to stay there but amazing how he didn't even give it a second thought like "man, I would be leaving Isis," nope, just was like a kid in the candy store ready to leave her.

Probably but we can see Dray has no love for the males in his family, earthbound or beyond. He still has that broken bridge due to Theron feeling he needed to be the bad guy for Drayce to succeed, he can't stand the Devil for I guess never being there for Evanthe (which we see why he couldn't be there but again, Evanthe probably wouldn't want him to be there seeing she fell in love with Theron), and he probably wouldn't have respect for the Emperor because he allowed Evanthe to be expelled from the heavens (although without this step, Drayce would never have been born to meet Seren). So Drayce is truly a mama's boy through and through and would not reach out to any of the males in his life unless it had something to do with Evanthe, Seren, and probably Arlan and Slayer.

Yeah, it was revealed soooo many chapters back that the Emperor of the Heavens was Evanthe's father and he was never really himself after she was exiled. I think that is when he went into seclusion after expulsion from the heavens.

Dray would rather be and act human to preserve the humans than abuse the power that Eberus can provide. Evanthe instilled that into him. Now, keep allowing Iris to mess with his honeybun especially he finally got that honey out the pot and all bets may be off.

That or it was his promise to Evanthe when she was younger to have a son just like him, hence Drayce.

Okay, looking forward to that part of the story.

Guess that also explains the childish bickering that Evanthe and Yorian do but then again, Yorian is just a high elf (?) and not a fallen angel so I just contributed that silliness to how older people become more child like in their golden years.
