Don’t know whether you got a chance to watch pitching from up close IRL. I’m fortunate to watch Triple A team and MLB team up close. I can confidently say forget about MLB team, Triple A teams pitchers are better than MC in terms of speed, Control, pitch varieties, mental skilllset. They average on 90-95 mph. Sure MC was able to pitch 90 in some pitches but the batters are no joke. They could jam MC pitch anytime. In high level it’s more about control, pitch varieties etc. atleast that was the conclusion I’ve reached.
