It does, it takes years to learn magic, and learning magic isn't something you do on your own, you need to learn it from an institution or from a teacher, and devil magic is the source of all human magic, so it is impossible to claim you've spent years learning magic yet never been told about anything about devils, heck, one of the most common ways for magicians in dxd to learn magic is to have a contract with a devil.

First off, it isn't going to look "suspicious" because magicians come and go, seeing them passing by their territory is hardly something to be weary about, devils have no conflict with magicians, and second, even IF he were suspicious she isn't going to punch him because HE ISN'T an enemy, why the heck would punching even be considered?!?
