I don’t really see how it’s just limited to mutants since it could include literally anyone with any kind of abilities.
Though in regards to the new name I have thought up to address Mutant kind its perfect. Because I've decided to now call us X-Rounders.

The mc is stressed and obviously is too focused on finding people to actually stop and think of where the best places to find them would be. Just because she is a very powerful being doesn’t automatically make her someone who would have no trouble trying to solve a problem that literally just happened.

Well it’s something he did so you should expect to see it a lot.
The poor girl, having no idea that Charles may have violated her mind and suppressed a part of her. All simply because he was scared of it and didn't understand it.
