Detective Di Renjie Part Two was a 40-episode Chinese TV series directed by Qian Yanqiu. The plot took place during the reign of Emperor Wu Zetian of the Tang Dynasty. The Khitans invaded the territory and the flames of war rose one after another. General Wang Xiaojie and Zhao Wenhao were ordered to go out to defend the enemy, but Zhao Wenhao's 20,000 men mysteriously disappeared during the military operation, causing Wang Xiaojie's 100,000 main force to be completely wiped out. Wu Zetian appointed Di Renjie as the general manager of the Hebei Road march to investigate the reasons for the failure. Di Renjie, with his wisdom and courage, unraveled a huge conspiracy that split the country and caused the war. He was praised and loved by the whole country.
