Generally, literary fiction delves deep into human nature, society, and the human condition. Books such as 'The Great Gatsby' and 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' fall into this category. They are characterized by rich prose and thought-provoking insights.

War of the Two Kinds

War of the Two Kinds

Humanity was slowly dying out, resources scarce and only the reliance on technology and/or old primitive ways were the only choice to continue. Discovering old artefacts of yonder time, they found out the second being of life naming themselves as the Guardian species. With immense power in possibilities and their likeliness to humans, it was their only salvation as both kinds struggle their way to continue their desperate measure to keep the world alight. However, this wasn't all. A secret governmental team of operatives scouted from all around the world was trying to find a cure for *The Happening*. An endangering disaster that wiped out most of the male species, whether human, animal or any type of sexual reproduction in the other kingdoms. Most females too, once you scavenge more into the deeper truth. Equipped with weapons of bio-destruction made by both the species intelligence in weapons and nuclear scientists, they will mow down the terrorist groups, the hidden organizations, and any other party--that tries to stop their freedom and rights to a better tomorrow. However as much as they fight, Hell just needs to grasp them to a closer end, with worse corruption. ------------------------------------------- Support the Author on : https://ko-fi.com/crackgear https://www.royalroad.com/profile/118011/fictions ------------------------------------------- I share notifications on : https://twitter.com/Crackgear https://www.webnovel.com/profile/4315642915?appId=10 ------------------------------------------- If you want to contact me, you can do so at these two links : crackgearson@gmail.com https://discord.gg/Nu3gugw2UY

Literary Teacher Isekai

Literary Teacher Isekai

After a painful breakup, a 28-year-old literature teacher is unexpectedly transported to a mystical medieval world with his loyal college assistant. In a land where words have the power to shape reality, their literary knowledge becomes their greatest advantage. As they explore this strange new realm, they uncover a dangerous secret: the godlike creator has lost control, and now the characters are alive—and free to make their own choices. ______________________________________ What to expect: 1. Narrative Driven, the story may be a litrpg but the focus is less from the stat blocks and more to the characters and plot. Although, the stats are still very much significant.  2. Conflicts are real, this means that the main characters don't just get better and move on from past traumas right away. Improvement is gradual. If you don't like waiting, or feeling pain before having the strength to overcome it, this might not be for you (sorry, I've decided to take it to the unconventional direction) 3. There is a potential slow burn romance subplot and potential love interests depending on plot progression and audience interaction. But, I'd like to make it clear that this is not a harem. 4. A whole lot of literary allusions, if you enjoy popular and classic literature, you're in for a ride! 5. Explores the struggles of a modern day teacher in depth. This story is a quest for redemption,  6. The main characters are human, this means that they aren't the typical Mary Sue or Gary Stew kinda characters. Capable of making good decisions as much as they're capable of making mistakes. ______________________________________ Sidenote: It isn't excessively violent, in fact, it's the opposite. Just wanted to put the warning since some chapter has mild descriptions of violence. Erring on the side of caution would be best. ______________________________________ This journey is a quest for redemption, a confrontation of past regrets and the reimagination life and love in a world as fluid as ink on a page.

I also really liked 'The Night Watchman' by Louise Erdrich. It's based on the true story of her grandfather who worked to preserve Native American rights in the 1950s. The book offers a deep look into Native American culture and the struggles they faced against the U.S. government's policies at that time. It's a story full of heart and historical significance.
