Who are the important characters in the foolish king story?

There is surely the foolish king himself. There might also be his advisors, who try to guide him but are often ignored. And perhaps there are some common people in the kingdom who are affected by the king's foolishness.

Guinevere is important not only as Arthur's queen but also for her relationship with Lancelot which causes a lot of drama. And of course, the Knights of the Round Table like Gawain are important. They are the ones who fight for Arthur and uphold the values of Camelot.

Oedipus is the most important character. He is the king of Thebes who is on a quest to find the cause of the plague in his city. Then there is Jocasta, his mother and wife, though he doesn't know their true relationship at first. Tiresias, the blind prophet, is also important as he tries to warn Oedipus about his fate.

Simba is of course very important. He's the main character who has to reclaim his throne. Then there's Mufasa, his father, who is a great king.

There is the main lion, of course. He is the hero of the story. Then there is his father, the former king. His mother is also important. And as I mentioned before, the evil uncle. There are also some other animals in the pride who play supporting roles, like the lion's friends who help him in his journey.

The beggar king himself is of course a very important character. There might also be his loyal followers who support him throughout his journey.
