Kuro adalah seorang remaja yang berusaha mencari tahu siapa sebenarnya jati dirinya, dalam kompleksnya kehidupan beserta seluk beluknya, di tengah konflik berkepanjangan empat negeri besar yang tak berujung antara negeri Tanah Utara, Kayu, Pasir dan Air Selatan.
